Job Requirements:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation or any other related field or professional qualifications such as ACCA is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in handling Corporate Tax matters overall
• A mix of experience in handling corporate tax in professional accounting firms and commercial experience handling tax and deferred tax for monthly reporting for close in accounts purposes.
• Able to handle a large sized tax computation such as POS Malaysia.
• Some transfer pricing documentation experience, in supporting the tax agents and preparing in house minimal transfer pricing documentation.
• Tactical and process-oriented problem solving
• Experience in leading team members on activities such as as-is process and maturity assessment, technology evaluation, opportunity identification, business case and roadmap creation and implementation of recommendations

Job Summary:

An Indirect Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of indirect taxation within the Company which include identifying, evaluating, and ensuring that the Company is compliant with their indirect tax obligations to minimize the overall tax risk for the Company.

Own It:

• Prepare, submit, and make payment for bi-monthly service tax return of Pos Malaysia Berhad.
• Review and oversee the timely filing and payment of bi-monthly service tax return prepared by subsidiary (i.e., Pos Digicert Sdn Bhd).
• Prepare, submit, and make payment for quarterly Tourism tax return of Pos Malaysia Berhad.
• Manage indirect tax audit, if any - prepare necessaries required supporting documents requested by RMCD within stipulated timeline given.
• Manage indirect tax-related projects and provide advice on M&A, business ventures to ensure indirect tax implications are considered by the stakeholders.
• Verify SST implication on foreign vendor payment and monitor the related imported service tax payment to the RMCD.
• Compile and provide information for Country-by-Country Reporting on yearly basis.
• Compile information on related party transactions for Transfer Pricing (TP) on yearly basis.
• Support GLs administration activities – extract data for reporting, manage details text in specific GLs, tax implication etc.
• Involve in tax related projects introduced by the government such as e-invoicing, etc.
• Involve in discussion and engage with the tax consultants for the proposals of consulting services (i.e., MD Status application, e-invoicing and etc).

Build Trust:

• Engage with internal counterparts in solving issues.
• Maintain relationships and network with customs officers and external tax consultants.
• Liaise directly with RMCD officers in relation to any indirect tax audit.
• Provide update on new laws/regulations/guides/policies etc. to ensure compliance and increase awareness.

One Team:

• Provide functional and technical guidance on indirect tax knowledge to stakeholders when needed.
• Develop or maintain updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documents for tax team.
• Obtain listing from the respective teams, check, and monitor Form CP58 submission to agents.

Drive Innovation:

• Ensure that work and work processes are done in the most efficient way, simplify and improvise where it is possible.
• Identify improvement opportunities to the indirect tax compliance process and implement related process changes.

Move Fast:

• Quick to adapt, have a sense of urgency and act quickly based on the business needs.
• Keep abreast with the latest development of SST/TTX law and advise impact to business.

The Repairs Team are responsible for the repairs and maintenance of our properties, as part of providing safe and secure homes. This role will help ensure that we maintain the efficiency and quality of the repair and maintenance operations.
This role requires an understanding of technical and operational processes, contributing significantly to service delivery, resident satisfaction, operational effectiveness and ultimately contributing to achieving our mission and vision.
You will support the delivery of the Operational side of the repairs service, repairs scheduling team, operatives and suppliers utilising our bespoke MCM repairs database. You will also assist the Repairs Support Team Leader/Manager in any other administrative tasks that help support the repairs function.

A day in the life:

You will:

Raise work orders for Out of Hour jobs that have been attended and arrange payment
Ensure job records are updated in a timely manner and you can meet and exceed deadlines for keeping the repair job orders on track through the system
Liaise with Repairs Service Managers (RSM) for decisions on jobs that have received quotes.
Log repairs and bookings on the system in line with guidance and training provided
Support the other repairs team technical members with searching the history of the database to check works completed or outstanding
Check the notice of completions (NOC) daily and review reports
Ensure job records are updated in a timely manner and you can meet and exceed deadlines for keeping the repair job orders on track through the system
Communicate in a professional and courteous manner with all stakeholders (Repairs operatives, office staff, customers and the wider Wandle team) on a daily basis via phone, taking calls and managing the repairs bookings
Investigate, respond & resolve to Stage 1 complaints
Reflect the Wandle values and behaviours in everything you do and inspire your direct reports and staff across Wandle to achieve the best outcomes for our customers
Support the organisation to improve its customer service delivery through demonstrating Think Customer value at all times
Provide a quality frontline phone service for the repairs operative with non-technical based enquiries
Keep customers updated in a timely manner with the team ethos of ‘Own it until resolution’
Action “MyWandle” jobs and ensure that they are pushed through to MCM database
Action & resolve General Enquiries that have been assigned to the Repairs Team via our CRM - Dynamics
Manage multiple inboxes


What you’ll need to have:
