The Front of House department is the one department that typically forms the first impressions our guests will get upon arrival at our property, it is of paramount importance that the reception desk runs smoothly and efficiently. As a Front of House Receptionist, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests and whilst also ensuring the highest levels of safety are maintained.

Main duties and responsibilities as a Receptionist include;

• Greeting guests with a warm welcome and ensuring the courteous and efficient process of checking-in, completing the correct registration procedure including offering a tour where appropriate and explaining the welcome pack.
• When checking out guests you will ensure all client accounts are settled in full, robe controls maintained, and guest satisfaction is checked. Where comments are raised you will share these with your team and where appropriate make an action for correction should constructive feedback be provided.
• Assist in the scheduling of Spa colleagues and services by taking responsibility for pre bookings and bookings of all spa services offered and ensure that the billing of guest services is carried out correctly and in a timely manner.
• Keep up to date on promotional offers and upsell services to guests as per targets set, supporting the team in achieving sales targets.
• You will be preparing paperwork for the next day’s arrivals, making sure the information on the registration cards is correct, pre-payment made, and allocations match the guest’s requirements.

You will be the first port of call for all questions and queries relating to a guest stay, spa day, club membership or any other general enquiry. Always demonstrating a can-do attitude, you will be a source of information for all guests and colleagues. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high end and exclusive personal training sessions, tailored made to our vast client base- this will include supporting with the development and delivering of our fitness programmes. Some duties and responsibilities as a Fitness Instructor include;

• Being responsible for your working areas and ensure that equipment is fully operational and clean and report any defects to maintenance via the Manager on duty.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations by using safe work practices and attend any appropriate training courses required for your therapist grade to be able to offer all treatment a senior therapist should be offering.
• Keep up to date with developments relating to the product ranges and any new treatments to give professional advice to guests via talks and demonstrations, spa tours and promotional events in order to promote available treatments.
• Maximise revenue opportunities in accordance to your targets and seek assistance if you need additional support or training.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum NVQ 3 or equivalent. At least 2 years’ experience working as a therapist, and intimate waxing & Elemis would be preferred, but not required.

Weekend working is on a rota basis.

The ideal candidate would work well under pressure with an accurate and consistent approach to customer service. You must have excellent communication skills and have the confidence to liaise via telephone and in person.

Some of your roles and responsibilities as an Events Co-Ordinator include:

• Handling all incoming enquiries with a high level of customer service in a timely manner.
• Ensure full and up-to-date knowledge of the hotel is maintained, specifically the hotels events facilities and services.
• Communicating effectively with other operational departments to maximise revenue opportunities at all times to ensure set KPI’s are met.
• Continually keeping in contact with clients to ensure their event is seamless.

Leisure Club Assistant

Part Time hours can be considered

The leisure attendant is the backbone of the Spa, Wellbeing and Fitness area, you will ensure that is presentable at all times and the fundamental health and Safety checks are conducted. The leisure attendant is dedicated to guest service and interacts personally with guests and members.

Your interaction with our guests will help determine whether they want to return to our spa and recommend us to their friends and family. We are committed to providing our guests with exceptional and friendly service while consistently exceeding their expectations.

Some duties and responsibilities of a Leisure Club Assistant include:

• Supporting with the opening and closing of the department.
• Ensuring all wet areas are clean, tidy, free of debris and where required have appropriate signage alerting guests of any hazards.
• Ensuring the changing rooms are clean, tidy and free of debris. Where you identify shortfalls correct them and ask for support where it is required.
• Conducting regular testing of the pools. Record your findings in line with the approved guidelines, where closure is required inform your manager without delay.
