We are looking for an experienced pharmacist with proven leadership and management skills to support the chief pharmacist with effective operational management and oversight of medicines optimisation services and medicines safety initiatives, and inspiring leadership and management of the continually expanding pharmacy team. The SystmOne EPMA/EPS system has now been fully implemented across all hospital units, so experience of using this system would be advantageous. The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated and able to work on their own, whilst also integrating into a well-established team. You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills together with a good working knowledge of hospital pharmacy. Knowledge of pharmacy PCN services would also be advantageous. The successful candidate must have significant clinical and training experience, be passionate about patient safety and quality, as well as having proven leadership ability and vision. Experience of implementing Medicines Optimisation or Medicines Safety projects will be ideal. You will need to have a combination of at least five years post registration experience and a clinical diploma or similar experience. You will also need a great deal of self-motivation, sound clinical knowledge and computer literacy. The role will also be supported by a full training package, according to needs. The role is part-time (30 hours per week), with some flexibility as to how the hours are worked over the course of the week. The Director, Supply Chain Design and Execution – Medical Distribution will report to the VP, Supply Chain Flow and Strategy – Medical Distribution. This position leads the Supply Chain Design and Execution team; focused on ensuring our distribution network can support future growth while driving best-in-class service at an optimal cost across the U.S. Medical supply chain.
