Your Responsibilities:

• Own, manage, implement and deliver an evidence based approach for IVVTQA activities relating for project/programme.
• Apply IVVTQA principles and best practice across the SE lifecycle, from requirements, design, integration and the V&V stages, supporting the acceptance process.

Your Experience:

• Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in IVVTQA/ITEA for Environmental and EMC Engineering/Systems Engineering.
• Competent in the use of DOORS or similar requirements management tool.
• Experience of planning and conduct of IVVTQA activities within a Systems Engineering lifecycle.
• Previous IVVTQA experience in accordance with Military/Defence/Industry Standards.
• Experience within a UKAS test environment.
• Previous IVVTQA experience in Software Engineering or Control Systems Engineering.
• History of delivering accurate qualification test documentation.

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all properties within the portfolios have all statutory certificates and licences. Duties would include:

• Proactively maintain a spreadsheet database (or future asset management software which may be adopted) listing the testing and inspection requirements for each property and the expiry dates of the test certificates
• Produce and proactively update a rolling 12-month work plan detailing the testing and inspections to be commissioned within the next 12-month period
• Instruct contractors or staff to carry out the testing and/or inspections according to the work plan
• Liaise with tenants, staff, long leaseholders, freeholders and contractors to arrange the access required for testing/inspections to be carried out within the required time periods
• Monitor contractors and HGL/EL staff to ensure the required testing/inspections have been carried out and ensure that certificates and reports are stored in the relevant files and systems
• Refer any technical issues highlighted in testing or inspection reports to HGL management and the relevant technical officer
• Arrange for injunctions to be obtained and coordinate forced entries where tenants consistently refuse to provide access without good reason
• Undertake any other administrative activities as required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT To perform as a HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist [BMS] responsible for the operational aspect of quality & training. To contribute to the quality & training and pathology service managers in the design, implementation and delivery of a cohesive quality & training strategy; in conjunction the Clinical Service Line (CSL) Quality Governance Committee (QGC) for pathology. This will include ensuring monitoring of the policies for pathology that have been established for UKAS and other accrediting bodies. Where required to participate in all aspects of quality & training, particularly where special expertise is required, with the ability to assist Laboratory Managers and their teams in their ability to comply with standards for FINANCE To provide assistance to the pathology service managers by authorising timesheets, expenses, orders and invoices where delegated. HUMAN RESOURCES In conjunction with the quality & training manager to assist in the staffing requirements via the Health Roster system. To assist in the staff selection, recruitment, training and conduct appraisals. To assist in the delivery of training in conjunction with the training officer, ensuring tutorials, one to one training and competency assessments are fulfilled in accordance with ISO 15189 and utilising the Training Module of the Q-Pulse system. To be responsible for maintaining an up to date expert knowledge of quality & training, to ensure consistent competency levels through annual reassessment protocols where identified. CLINICAL GOVERNANCE AND QUALITY To be responsible for the implementation of UKAS, MHRA, HTA and HSE standards for quality & training using the pathology Quality Management System as established, to fulfil the quality & training circles and audit inherent to the ISO 15189 standards of compliance. In conjunction with the quality & training manager to assist in the generation of Quality & training reports for the CSL QGC for pathology. To assist in the provision of action plans to resolve nonconformities that are recorded by internal and/or external audits or complaints to ensure the completion of corrective and preventative actions that have been identified. To assist in the conduction and completion of quality & training audits whether vertical, horizontal or examination audits relevant to the service and develop new audit tools as required. To contribute to the Risk Management Policy for quality such as InPhase management, ensuring Risk Assessments are conducted, reporting of incidents, accidents and adverse events via the reporting structures that exist including the clinical lead and/or the pathology managers as required. To assist in the regular assessment of service performance providing quality & training monitoring reports for the Discipline Specific Quality & Training Group, Quality & Training committee and where necessary the Pathology Board. To contribute to the provision of the quality & training policy for quality & training, including quality objectives and annual management review. To bring to the attention of the quality & training manager any problems or difficulties encountered in the performance of their duties. Duties:

• Management of minor / major works operations across a range of building Mechanical & Electrical maintenance activities for various clients and contracts. Manage the full supply chain management requirements to deliver successful services that achieve business objectives and meet our customer's needs.

• Managing approved contractors to meet service demands known and contingent, including procurement activity, commissioning, appointment and management in line with the Company's contract rules and standard terms and conditions.

• Improve the efficiency and output of the repairs and maintenance services including its reputation with customers and stakeholders for producing excellent services.

• Ensure accuracy of cost information in relation to projects and risk events. Ensure effective recovery of all claims/costs incurred.

• Review and authorise Sub-Contract payments within specified delegated authority.

• Undertake and accurately record work-in-progress, post inspections, health and safety inspections and act accordingly on findings. Also, where necessary compile improvement plans and see these through to completion.

• Provide accurate and timely reports on all aspects of projects being delivered including but not limited to production of monthly statistical and qualitative information in respect of service performance indicators and progress against targets and budgets.

• Keep abreast of developments in contract management practices and changes to standards and legislation, to ensure that services provided conform to industry best practice and legislative requirements.

• The post holder will be responsible for representing the company and liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders; and when requested, stand in for the Head of Minor Works and Compliance.
