The Role

We are currently seeking multiple highly experienced Rope Access Technicians to work in the Geotechnical arm of our SRG Global Mining division. These positions will be on a fulltime contract and will include living and working in the Goldfields DAMA region. Specifically, these individuals will be working at the KCGM Superpit. Successful applicants are required to hold a Level 2 or 3 IRATA Certification and depending on their level will receive a site rate between $52.53 and $57.09.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
• Conduct rope access maneuvers.
• Adjust, inspect, maintain, properly use, care for and store all rope access equipment necessary to perform the rope access work.
• Inspect and verify the integrity of anchor systems and components.
• Complete and maintain site records.
• Perform standard SRG rescue procedures for the specific work environment.
• Install cable bolts, ground support mesh and accessories.
• Implement testing where required.
• Attend safety meetings and awareness sessions.
• Conduct Safety evaluations of rope access operations.
• Manage access and maintain exclusion zones at the work site.
• Report unsafe hazards or risks to Site Supervisor and Site Manager.
• Supervise personnel, implementation and oversight of rope access activities at the worksite, ensuring activities are conducted safely and comply with the rope access program (Level 3 only).

The successful applicant must have:
• Geotechnical rope access experience.
• First Aid & CPR Qualification.
• Level 2 or 3 IRATA Accreditation.

The Role
Project Engineer with construction industry experience to assist in the delivery of the BlueScope project in Port Kembla. This role reports directly into the Senior Project Engineer and will work closely with Supervisors and Leading Hands onsite ensuring prompt project delivery.
Permanent, full-time role with standard construction site hours.

The Senior Project Engineer will provide support to this role, which involves closely collaborating with on-site personnel to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality work. Training will be provided as necessary.

• Provide technical advice and support to the project delivery team, ensuring that project objectives are achieved. Assist in monitoring project performance, including tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct proactive inspections of project activities to monitor progress and ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and QSE standards/best practices.
• Offer technical advice to industrial or managerial personnel regarding design, construction, program modifications, or structural repairs.
• Assist the Project Manager in directing construction, operations, or maintenance activities at the project site.
• Guide and actively participate in surveying to establish reference points, grades, or elevations for construction purposes.

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other topographical/geologic data.

• Conduct regular quality audits and take steps to improve any shortcomings identified.

The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager (Condition Monitoring), your role as a Condition Monitoring Technician will be a full-time position working across our Contract Sites in the Mackay region. Our clients are long-term ongoing contracts; they have a large variety of equipment on their sites. Accommodation on site camp with meals provided. 3 days site/ 2 days Mackay based.

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking condition monitoring vibration, Laser alignment, oil/ grease sampling and thermography surveys and onsite assessment of machine condition.
• Undertake scheduled site equipment condition monitoring surveys and analysis.
• Carrying out sensor installation where required.
• Taking and submitting of oil/ grease sampling.
• Carry out alignment on requests.

As the Condition Monitoring Technician on site, you will carry out routine vibration monitoring and analysis tasks effectively and accurately on critical rotating machinery in line with the company’s vision and values, in order to increase the availability, reliability and life of the plant.

The successful applicant will ideally have:
• ISO 18436-2, Level II Vibration Analysis Training and Certification. 2+ years analysis experience (Knowledge of MHM advantage)
• Laser alignment experience/ certification is highly desirable
• Practical/hands on mechanical experience and knowledge with oil/ grease sampling.
• Thermography experience/ certification
• Mining experience an advantage.
• Strong communication and people skills is highly desirable

We are seeking a motivated individual who will ideally possess the following:

Minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) ;
Condition Monitoring Qualifications and experience (e.g. CAT II & III VA, thermography, or oil analysis certification) – Mobius accreditation preferred.

The Role

Reporting to the Western Region Reliability Lead, your role as a Condition Monitoring Engineer will provide engineering support to our major clients in WA, delivering engineering services related to Asset Health Monitoring. Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role as an NDT Technician will provide value adding Inspection services to our clients. This exciting opportunity will be working with our clients and has come about through the growth and uptake of our services. This position is covered by our Enterprise Bargaining agreement hourly rate will be in accordance with skills and certification up to $78,384 p.a.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out high integrity NDT and Inspection work.
Liaise with clients and provide clear and concise results and information as required.
Prepare and compile worksheets and reports.
Provide assistance (non NDT) to engineering and metallurgy staff where required.

As a minimum you will need ISO 9712 UT2/MT2/PT2 certification:

ISO 9712 NDT Certifications.
