Peri-Operative Registered Nurses Full Time | Part Time | Casual The Memorial Hospital Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Incorporated, known as ACHA Health, is one of the largest private not-for-profit hospital groups in South Australia. ACHA Health comprises Ashford Hospital, Flinders Private Hospital and The Memorial Hospital. The Memorial Hospital is seeking to recruit experienced Registered Nurses to join our Peri-Operative department in various roles. A fantastic opportunity in the private healthcare community for highly motivated candidates with extensive skill sets and sound knowledge of the standards pertaining to Peri-Operative Nursing. We are seeking applications for Registered Nurses with experience in Scrub/Scout, Recovery, Day Services and Anaesthetics. The Memorial Hospital is a private not-for-profit 98 bed hospital which offers a range of specialties including ENT Surgery, general medicine, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, paediatric surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery. The Memorial Hospital has 8 operating theatres, a dedicated paediatric day stay unit and a level 2 critical care unit. Essential Criteria:
South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
Current AHPRA Registration
Two years' minimum experience as a Registered Nurse in a Peri-Operative environment
Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards, ACHA policies and procedures
Ability to manage risk
Sound knowledge of Peri-Operative standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills
Proven ability to effectively manage under pressure with competing demands
