We are looking for an Event Marketing Manager who will join the Moledao team and help us build awareness and traction for the Moledao community globally. Moledao aims to help early-stage blockchain talents and projects develop their skills and demonstrate them through educational activities, courses, and hackathons.
Job Description
The candidate should ideally have experience and familiarity with blockchain community events and is also comfortable supporting social media and marketing initiatives, targeting the global market.
In this position, the candidate has an important role in dreaming up on-ground events to promote a brand, a product, a festive fair, or a community initiative.
With the main goal of delivering awareness and participation to community members, you will be working with the event organizer, potential sponsors, tenants plus internal stakeholders to stitch together a campaign and bring it from idea to life. You will use insights derived from social media and digital activities to develop a full and compelling story. This is an entirely independent project management role with the ability to be creative, and use your operational acumen to the best of your ability. You will have the opportunity to use your business mind to work on larger scale, while also being meticulous in the details.
Candidates need to be flexible, highly motivated, and approachable, with excellent event management skills honed by their hands-on experience in IRL events ranging from small to large scale.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the entire cycle in pursuing business opportunities with both attendees, stakeholders and other event organizers
- Grow our presence in established markets as well as pursue new opportunities in untapped markets
- Supporting and implementing strategies for maximising event exposure, attendees and community retention
- Manage event processes and execution, including, but not limited to, ideation, budgeting, planning, marketing, registration, coordinating and operations for conferences, workshops, events, etc in physical, virtual, or hybrid formats
- Develop creative media to maximize the impact of the event campaigns by using offline and online engagement
- To plan, coordinate, and work closely with the appointed event organizer and partners for all event logistics-related matters.
- Coordination with clients and partners in pre and post-sales and administrative functions to complete the cycle
- Coordinate sales requirements with internal marketing and operations departments, monitoring material delivery deadlines
- Liaise with the client’s finance department with regard to payment matters
- Provide general administrative support to the team for the compilation of campaign reports, generation of contracts, and monitoring of their statuses
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Event industry/Sales/Marketing/Leasing
- To plan, coordinate, and work closely with the appointed event organiser and venue partner for all event logistics-related matters.
- Good written and spoken communication skills, with strong negotiation and numeracy skills
- Meticulous, ability to multi-task and work within a tight timeline
- Possess a positive disposition, independent, resourceful, and a team player
- Interest or involvement in Web3 is highly advantageous
