Being a caretaker is a very important role. You are often the first-person visitors and contractors meet. You often meet and greet our families on arrival.
Do you have what it takes to be our next caretaker?
We are looking for someone who is…..
• Respectful, polite and welcoming to all
• Reliable, honest and committed to school
• Good sense of humour
• Clear communication
• Flexibility (from time to time there may be a need to open school late or on weekends. This would be agreed in advance).
• Experience with Health & Safety related matters is desirable.
What will be your duties?
• Routine maintenance of the school building indoors (this can include minor repairs)
• Routine maintenance of school grounds outdoors (this can include minor repairs)
• Recycling
• Reporting of repairs / major works
• Assistance with Health & Safety (Please see job description for list).
• Daily cleaning of agreed areas
What will be your hours?
• 6:30 am – 10:30 am
• 2.30 pm – 6:00pm (5.30pm on a Friday)
• Holidays cannot be taken during school term time.
