The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a driven and customer-focused individual to join our IT Services team as an IT Asset & Procurement Officer. This exciting role offers the opportunity to play a crucial part in managing and streamlining our IT asset and procurement processes.
Your Responsibilities Will Include: As a key member of the IT Services team, you will:
Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from acquisition through to disposal, ensuring compliance and accuracy at every stage.
Facilitate IT procurement for hardware and software, liaising with suppliers and internal teams to streamline purchasing and maintain license management.
Maintain accurate asset records, process invoices, and track goods-in, ensuring assets are readily available.
Support the IT Services team by triaging service requests, updating systems, and maintaining operational procedures.
Contribute to team development by mentoring junior apprentices and ensuring compliance through regular asset audits.
