Ward Security is on the lookout for an experienced Security Supervisor, who will work at our client’s vibrant estate – The Stage, Shoreditch. Commuting is easy, with Liverpool Street Station just a few minutes walk away and Moorgate & Old Street Stations very close by.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information.
A customer-oriented previous experience is essential.
Position: Security Supervisor
Pay rate: £16.65 per hour
Shift Pattern: 3 days – 3 nights – 3 off.
Location: The Stage, Curtain Road EC2A 3NG
Must have:
• Valid SIA licence (CCTV & DS)
• Proven work experience as a Security Supervisor - min 1 year
• Robust leadership and supervision skills, adept at inspiring and efficiently managing teams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
• Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability.
• Profound problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to analyse intricate security issues and devise effective solutions.
• IT literate- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
Duties:
• Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring efficient task completion
• Report any issues to the security manager
• Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
• To provide a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
• Respond to emergencies
• Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
• Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
• Carry out ID checks
• Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
• Excellent communication skills to all levels – verbally, written, phone and by security radio’s
• Can work effectively as part of a team or can work on own initiative
• A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
• Operate CCTV and access control systems (training provided)
• Experience in working with MyTAG is beneficial but not essential
