Manages The Control Room

Compliance

• Stay updated on IT security regulations (e.g., PCI-DSS, ITRM, IM8).
• Develop and enforce security policies.
• Monitor compliance and report to stakeholders.

Security Operations

• Monitor and mitigate potential data loss events, and investigate suspected incidents.
• Investigate security incidents and implement appropriate response measures.

Business Continuity

• Review and update crisis plans.
• Organize simulation exercises.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT security and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of IT security frameworks.
• Familiarity with security tools (e.g., DLP, SIEM).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Cloud security certification (e.g., CCSP, AZ 500) is a plus.
• CISA, CISM, or CISSP certification is an advantage.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities :
The System Engineer is responsible for a sub-system along its lifecycle:
- Perform the engineering requirements analysis
- Provides required technical documentation:
• Design Documents (Preliminary, Final)
• Statement of Works for suppliers and external contractors
• Input/output requirement for Interfaces Management
• Input for specialty engineering: RAMS, EMC/EMI, Cyber-Security.
• Input for Installation Management
• Operation and Maintenance documentation
• Training material
- Assists the bid team to scope and cost engineering work packages
- Work with contractors to produce costing, ensure that they deliver on time
- Reports and follow-up the KPIs for the sub-system
- Participate to progress meetings
- Analyses and Correct the Problem Changes Requests

Pre-requisite :
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or related discipline (essential)
- Higher degree qualifications are desirable.
- Demonstrated engineering competencies required for qualification to INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent, or ASEP) are highly desirable.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Engineering role
- Able to decipher technical scope from high level requirements
- Experience with Governmental and/or complex IT Projects
- Strong oral and written communications skills.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Experience working on Security projects
- Experience working within a Systems Engineering lifecycle
- Membership of relevant professional organisation, e.g. INCOSE, Institution of Engineers Singapore, etc.
