Ealing Talking Therapies (TT) is now offering a number of places on the London-wide training course for Trainee CBT High Intensity Therapists.
If you are an experienced mental health or social care worker with a recognised professional qualification working in a mental health setting, or a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience, this course gives you the training you need to become an accredited cognitive behavioural therapist.
Ealing Talking Therapies service was established in 2008 and we have been doing great work ever since! We are a large team of over 70 members of staff and are currently working on further expansion and development of our service. Because of this we are an excellent place to start and progress in your career.
We provide weekly supervision meetings to help you through this training course, as well as an excellent network of experienced and friendly colleagues to help you reach your potential with us.
We are committed to staff wellbeing and we have recently commissioned a QI project on staff wellbeing, led by staff across the different staff groups within the team.

Applications are invited from qualified clinical or counselling psychological therapists, Mental Health Nurses, Psychotherapists, Counsellors, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to apply for the one year full-time post graduate diploma courses based at Royal Holloway University.
Applicants without a core mental health profession (such as Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner or counsellors without UKCP or BACP accreditation) must be able to meet the required KSA process criteria.
The training programme consists of three days working within Ealing TT and two days at university taught by experts in the field.
Ealing TT is passionate about offering a great quality therapy to our patients and we are very proud to be able to consistently offer all the TT-approved therapies, such as EMDR, DIT, IPT, BCT, and CfD. To that effect, we are committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) of our staff.
Our main base is in Ealing where we have access to over 16 clinic rooms and two open plan offices. In addition to this, we run clinics at GP surgeries across the borough, covering areas such as Southall, Acton, and Chiswick. Our service is well-established and many of our staff have been with us since our service launched.
