• Position : Construction Project Director (Civil Engineering /6 days work) - Up to $16,000
• Location : Office based at Changi
• Working hours : Monday to Saturday | 8am to 5pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $16,000 + Variable Bonus + Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits
• Duration : Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Overall responsible for the successful conclusion of construction projects
• Oversee Project Managers and ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
• Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to Project Managers to implement the decisions
• Meeting with Clients, Stakeholders and Project Managers to report on project progress
• Liaise with clients and build strong working relationships
• Devise cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion
• Manage risks to avoid delays or reputational damage

Requirements:

• Minimum of Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with at least 13-15 years previous work experience as a Senior Project Manager
• Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or equivalent and other basic construction certificates
• Strong presentation and negotiating skills, and experience supervising, training and mentoring staff
• Leadership and business management skills
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with associates who can only speak mandarin
