Job purpose

As the Product Manager, Access Control and Monitoring Solutions at Igloo, you will be a key player in strategizing and developing our access control and monitoring solutions for our Smart Access Management platform. Your role will involve leveraging your relevant experience in AI and monitoring capabilities to build up our capabilities to deliver delightful experiences and advance towards our vision of a world without keys.

Duties and responsibilities

Strategic Vision and Product Roadmap:

• Develop and communicate a clear strategic vision for access control and monitoring solutions within the context of Smart Access Management
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap for access control and monitoring solutions, aligned with igloo's overall business objectives and customer needs
• Familiarity with AI, data analytics, and monitoring technologies

Collaborative Development:

• Work closely with software development teams, ensuring the accurate, timely, and high-quality delivery of products
• Own and manage the product backlog, writing user stories, mitigating risks, and effectively prioritising tasks to unblock the team

Market Synthesis and Alignment:

• Synthesise market needs into clear product requirements, focusing on optimising partnerships, onboarding processes, and end-user experiences
• Lead workshops and cross-functional exercises to explore new product opportunities and align strategies with organisational goals
• Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather feedback, validate product ideas, and drive product enhancements

Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy:

• Lead product launches for new features and products, working closely with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure successful rollout and adoption
• Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales enablement materials to support product launches and drive revenue growth

Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring:

• Assist with product testing and provide training to internal and external stakeholders, addressing challenges on the user end
• Monitor software performance, collaborating with vendors to enhance the user experience while resolving technical issues

Scale and Predictability:

• Introduce processes that enable and support scalability, driving greater predictability in product delivery for monitoring solutions

Requirements/Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Deep technical acumen and demonstrated ability partnering with Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Demonstrated success defining, launching, and maintaining excellent launching products at scale, and across regions.
• Basic knowledge of software development platforms, databases, infrastructure and Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS):

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO 13485 and other relevant standards.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes to address non-conformities and improve system effectiveness.
• Oversee document control, ensuring that all quality documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly maintained.
• Provide training to staff on QMS procedures and regulatory requirements.

Regulatory Affairs:

• Develop and execute regulatory strategies to obtain and maintain product approvals in multiple markets, including but not limited to the US (FDA), EU (MDR), ASEAN, South Asia, and China/Taiwan/Hong Kong (HSA, TGA, PMDA, NMPA).
• Prepare and submit regulatory filings, including 510(k), CE marking, and other market-specific submissions.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and communicate their impact to the organization.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and notified bodies as necessary to ensure timely product approvals and renewals.
• Maintain regulatory compliance for all marketed products, including post-market surveillance and reporting.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with R&D, Clinical, and Product Development teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support the development of clinical evaluation plans and reports.
• Participate in risk management activities, ensuring that potential risks are identified and mitigated effectively.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA/RA department to enhance processes, efficiency, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs within the medical device or digital health industry.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820), MDR, and other international regulatory standards.
• Proven track record of successful regulatory submissions and product approvals in multiple markets, including the US, EU, ASEAN, South Asia, and China/Taiwan/Hong Kong.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles (ISO 14971).
