• As a Student Trainee (Mathematics and Statistics), the incumbent will work under closer supervision performing assignments and completing training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to:

Summary

• To carry out the general duties of the design functions.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental policy, reduction of waste, and prevention of pollution

Details

• Ensure that all design aspects take into consideration of Cost-effectiveness
• Assist in verifying and reviewing technical aspects of Design development design
• Assist in attending to enquires/ site visits/requests from other departments or overseas agents (Guided by seniors)
• Ensure that all safety aspects of design are reviewed
• Assist in planning and scheduling for D&D/Vec projects (Guided by seniors)
• Design and generate drawings of the company-related products
• Preparation of design drawings and documents
• Review and monitor D&D/ Vec plan status being assigned to
• Assist in making development/Vec project costing (Guided by assistant engineer and above)
• Educate assistant officer on various aspects of equipment design/parts
• Ensure ISO procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with Company's workflow

Requirement

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (a must)
