Seeking a highly skilled, experienced APP to join our growing cardiothoracic critical care team. This is a 24/7 service therefore this position requires days, nights, weekends and holidays in a rotation with the team.
In this position you will be responsible for examining, diagnosing and treating patients with complex cardiac, respiratory, and thoracic diseases under the direction of the attending physician. Our APPs play an integral role in the multidisciplinary care team by coordinating discussion, communication, and implementation of care plans with various consulting physician services, nursing, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, nutritional support, and other ancillary teams. In addition to these skills, you will be expected to have obtained competency in common ICU procedures, including but not limited to endotracheal intubation, arterial blood gas collection, arterial catheter line placement, central venous catheter line placement, temporary dialysis catheter line placement, transvenous pacemaker line placement, and pulmonary artery catheter line placement.
Our cardiothoracic critical care providers are also the rapid response team for the hospital’s cardiac catheterization lab.
Our APPs are expected to manage endotracheal tubes, tracheostomy tubes, ventilators, pacemakers, sedation (MAC and Deep), interpret ABGs and VBGs as well as complex acid/base derangements, manage fluid balance goals with diuretics, hemodialysis, and CRRT, vasopressors and inotropes, XRAYS, and laboratory investigations.

Position Summary:
The Physician Assistant (PA), under the direction of a supervising physician, will function as an independent healthcare provider working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive Palliative Care both inpatient and outpatient (office visits, telehealth, and home/ALF/SNF visits) while demonstrating a high degree of clinical expertise. Experience or advanced training in Palliative Care or related specialties is preferred. The Palliative Care inpatient service is staffed 7 days per week and the provider would be expected share in the weekend/holiday rotation with the other Advance Practice Clinicians (APCs). The Palliative Care outpatient service is available on weekdays and is currently purely consultative with a goal to add future prescribing capabilities.
The provider would be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of a Physician Medical Director, other Advance Practice Clinicians (APCs), and Social Workers to consult regarding symptom management related to life-limiting illnesses (eg. pain, dyspnea, nausea, constipation, psychosocial stress, etc), end of life care, goals of care discussions and serious illness planning/communication, advance care planning completion, and hospice transitions. The provider would be responsible for providing direct individualized patient care and treatment with responsibility for assessing, examining, diagnosing, and analyzing the patient's current health condition and developing short and long-term goals and treatment plans. The provider functions within the defined scope of clinical practice as outlined by applicable state law, licensing, certification, regulations, institutional policy, and practice agreements. Physician Assistants employed by Bozeman Health or affiliates will have a current MD supervision agreement and duties and delegations agreement (clinical privileges) in place as per current Montana State Board of Medical Examiners requirements.

Bronson LakeView Family Care Suite B in Paw Paw, MI is seeking to hire a board certified/eligible Family Practitioner to join their established Family Medicine Practice. Candidate will work along-side two physicians and two APP's. This will be a hospital employed outpatient only position. As a Rural Health practice, we will work with the physician to create a schedule to offer appointments as early as 7:30 am or as late as 7 pm at least one day a week. Patients of the practice have access to an onsite specialties, pharmacy, physical therapy, laboratory and imaging. The physician will provide shared call coverage during the week and additional family care providers for weekend and holiday coverage.
