Grow the studio. Improve the capabilities and skillset of the studio, ensure succession planning within the team. Mentor and provide opportunities for growth and training, clear job expectations, and challenging objectives to ensure coherence and equity in their performance assessments. Take part in identifying new talent and oversee their onboarding.

• Conducting internal peer reviews of HV designs, proposed equipment, and GC submissions.
• Engaging in the Safety-in-Design lifecycle.

• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and system improvements.
• Contributing to the effective resolution of post-construction-related punch list items.
• Aiding project and commissioning engineers with electrical-related challenges as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Professional qualifications, with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree, and specific post-graduate power engineering qualifications. Preferably a registered professional engineer.
• Extensive experience in roles involving HV engineering, with a track record of delivering projects exceeding 10MW. A minimum of 10 years of experience is required, with previous exposure to the Asia-Pacific region being preferable.
• Familiarity with the Transmission & Distribution industry, particularly in relation to infrastructure and energy retailing.
• A comprehensive technical understanding of HV systems and assets, including switchgear, transformers, and protection relays.
• Profound knowledge of secondary control systems such as protection and SCADA systems.
• Strong organizational skills, adaptability to manage workloads to meet deadlines, and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

As a Associate Director of Manufacturing, you will:

• Maintain accountability, ensure mission fulfillment, sustain effective and efficient operations, and maintain a safe, healthy, and positive workforce climate.

As the Deputy Director, Division of Advanced Reactors and Non-power Production and Utilization Facilities (DANU), you will assist the Director, in leading and managing the performance of licensing and oversight of advanced reactors and non-power production and utilization facilities (NPUFs), including research reactors, testing facilities, and medical radioisotope facilities.  Conducts the design reviews and initial licensing reviews for advanced reactors and NPUFs submitted under 10 CFR Parts 50 and 52.  Provides technical leadership and insights from engineering, systems analysis, and consequence analysis to the reviews of licensing actions, preparation of regulatory guidance documents, resolution of policy issues, development of operator licensing examinations, and conduct of safety and security inspections.  Supports international coordination programs for the oversight of advanced reactors and NPUFs and consults on the export and import of nuclear technology and material.

Duties may include, but are not limited to: 

• Provides programmatic leadership and direction and performs engineering-related safety reviews of applications for design certification, combined licenses, and new reactor preapplication activities, to ensure that proposed submittals and applications meet the applicable requirements, and there is a reasonable assurance of safety, security, and protection of the environment when the new nuclear plants are designed, built, and operated.
• Leading change in all aspects of the regulatory framework to develop new guidance and to optimize and modernize established processes.
  • Simultaneously conduct numerous first-of-a-kind licensing activities for non-light water reactor technologies and non-power production and utilization facilities (NPUFs)
  • Licensing, oversight, and event response for diverse portfolio of regulated research and test reactors

Job Scope

Reporting to the Senior Finance Director (Global), you will manage a team of 2-3 members and be responsible in managing the financial performance for corporate functions. You will oversee long term range planning, budgeting and forecasting processes and preparation of monthly trend reports and analysis. You will provide explanation of variances and key performance drivers, support in monthly and quarterly business reviews, and drive presentation to senior management such as the Group CEO and CFO, Audit Committee, etc.

You will continually look into developing and enhancing FP&A processes to facilitate efficient and quality decision making. You will also provide leadership and engage with various stakeholders to improve Anaplan and analytics opportunities. The key stakeholders whom you will business partner and support closely will be the Group CFO and various Head of Departments.
