About the Job

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal services across the MoneyHero Group, working closely with the General Counsel to manage legal matters, mitigate risks, and contribute to the Group's strategic objectives while successfully managing a small team of legal professionals. The role reports to the General Counsel and will be a very influential and hands-on leadership and supportive role to the team.

The Head of Legal will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing the Legal Team, fostering a positive team culture and a collaborative and supportive working environment
• Developing and mentoring team members to ensure high performance and continuous improvement
• Planning for the department's sustainability under the guidance of the Group’s General Counsel
• Project Management:
  • Manage legal resourcing for strategic projects and day-to-day operations

  • To provide expert advice on the management of disputes, litigation, regulatory investigations and other contentious matters and advise on strategies and approaches

In this role, we are looking for someone with:

• Ideal candidate is a Hong Kong, Singapore or common law qualified lawyer with at least 8 years’ post-qualification legal experience including in-house experience (ideally with a technology or financial services company)
• Law firm experience (ideally corporate/M&A transactional, or regulatory experience)
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and develop a legal team in a dynamic and multicultural environment, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement

(A) Job Summary: The Sprayed Concrete Lining (SCL) Manager produces all related to mining works.

(B) Essential Job Functions: The SCL Manager is responsible, but not limited to, the following:

• Responsible to excavation, support and forming of tunnels and shafts in the ground.

Key Responsibilties

(A) Development and management of competency framework:

• Project manage the development and update of competency framework for legal industry
• Consult and collaborate with relevant stakeholders for the development and update of competency framework
• Conduct studies, including interviews and focus groups, to ensure frameworks are updated and relevant to the legal industry

(B) Development and maintenance of training roadmap

• Coordinate with training providers and partners to produce a training roadmap for the legal industry, according to the competency framework.
• Review and ensure training roadmap is updated regularly

(C) Industry engagement

• Work with government stakeholders such as Minlaw and Skillsfuture Singapore to promote awareness and adoption of framework and training roadmaps

Key Specification

What you'll be doing;



The purpose of the Risk & Assurance Manager (Physical Security) is to actively manage and support the business with all aspects of physical security. They will ensure that all corporate and operational sites have sufficient support with physical security.


Some of the key responsibilities are:

• Influence and engage with a wide range of senior leaders
  
• Lead and conduct physical security Incident reviews.
  
• Manage the physical security suppliers within the approved framework and in line with Veolia's Minimum Requirements.

• Provide physical security service, solutions, programs, standard methodologies and technical mentorship to the business
  
• Collect, measure and analyse regional and site physical security metrics to discover trends for continuous quality improvement or corrective measures
  
• Work with business development teams on new tenders, ensuring that the security element is both attractive and 'comes to life' for prospective clients.
  
• Responsible for physical security within bid submissions
  
• Working with MOD security clearances and approvals
  

What we're looking for:

• 8 + years Experience of physical security in industry
  
• Working knowledge of current industry trends and developments pertaining to security operations such as physical access controls, CCTV, and incident response.
  
• Expert knowledge and experience in Physical Security best practices (technical knowledge and demonstrated technical expertise)
  
• Experience of implementing successful change programmes
  
• Appreciation of all aspects of R&A including H&S, Environment and Risk

Legal & Compliance Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic legal counsel and advice to the management and business units on various legal and compliance matters.
• Provide legal support on legal implications of business strategies, decisions and transactions, and to mitigate any legal risks
• Provide legal support in management of regulatory and employment matters
• Vet contractual terms stipulated in tender document and review clauses in agreements
• Collate with key stakeholders in managing disputes and to propose possible solutions
• Provide advice on contractual rights and potential liabilities
• Assist key stakeholders in reviewing internal processes for compliance and corporate governance
• Conducts periodic compliance assessment and briefing/training to relevant stakeholders, if require
• Act as Company management representative in liaising with relevant authorities and any external counsel
• Keep abreast of changes in relevant areas of local laws and regulations

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Laws with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, prior experience in law firm is preferred
• Possess in-depth knowledge of local laws and regulations
• Strong knowledge in contract law and employment law
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good stakeholder management skills, arbitration and mediation skills
• Good organisational and time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal guidance to corporate clients on a range of business-related legal matters.
• Create, assess, and negotiate various contracts and agreements, encompassing partnership agreements, licensing agreements, employment contracts, and vendor contracts.
• Ensure adherence to corporate governance principles and regulations, offering guidance on board meetings, corporate resolutions, and bylaws.
• Monitor shifts in laws and regulations impacting the company's industry and operations, devising strategies for compliance.
• Manage and safeguard intellectual property assets worldwide, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
• Supervise legal disputes and litigation, either directly or through collaboration with external law firms.
• Offer counsel on employment-related legal matters such as hiring, terminations, discrimination, harassment, and labor law compliance.
• Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies to uphold legal boundaries, including global management of the Group's insurance policies and handling insurance claims with various stakeholders.
• Keep abreast of legal developments and conduct research to deliver well-informed legal opinions and advice.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law.
• Several years of experience in corporate law, either in-house or at a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, intellectual property law, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ethical and professional conduct.
• Willingness to travel overseas when necessary.
