Position Overview

The M&A Accounting Operations team supports company-wide strategic initiatives such as those revolving around our business model transformation, mergers and acquisitions and digital financial transformation.  The M&A Accounting Operations Manager will support the M&A Accounting Operations Senior Manager for revenue operations in all mergers and acquisitions and will be instrumental in financial quote to collect integration of acquired companies. Responsibilities

• Partner with finance, operations, IT and business functional leads to drive mergers and acquisitions from initial term sheet through diligence, close, valuation, financial reporting and until full product and financial integration

• Manage through others and influence cross-functional team members to achieve project goals

• Analyze fit/gap of acquired company finance processes, controls, policies and procedures as compared to Autodesk standards and provide guidance to integration team on necessary changes

• Develop strong stakeholder relationships and maintain effective communication channels

• Analyze revenue recognition implications of acquisitions and new business models and provide guidance to the business

• Design and implement effective, efficient and automated integrations of new acquisitions, product offerings and business models into the Autodesk ecosystem

• Manage team responsible for preparation of financial analysis, journal entries and reconciliation of revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts

• Manage team responsible for the preparation of periodic reports to support internal and external reporting requirements

• Manage team responsible for the implementation and documentation of processes, controls, procedures and policies as required to maintain SOX compliance

• Preparation/review of technical accounting memos (specifically, detailing the application of ASC 606-Revenue from Contracts with Customers and ASC 805-Business Combinations)

Minimum Qualifications

• CPA license

• Experience with supervising monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, problem resolution, audit schedule preparation and working with external and internal auditors 

• Experience performing/reviewing contract analysis under ASC 606-Revenue from Contracts with Customers

• Hands-on experience with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Rev Pro etc.)

• 7+ years relevant work experience, preferably a mix of public accounting and private industry

• Knowledge of a broad range of revenue (ASC 606) and accounting concepts. Ability to discuss these topics with non-finance stakeholders

• Ability to manage a team of professionals, juggle multiple tasks, establish appropriate priorities and meet deadlines

• Ability to proactively organize and plan project activities and dependencies to achieve success

• Confidence, good judgment, adaptability and personality to work in a dynamic, multi-business unit environment across all levels of management, business functions and geographies

• Desire for continuous learning and growth

Responsibilities

Position Overview

• Análisis de los costos actuales de manufactura y preparación de reportes periódicos para su revisión

• Elaboración de resumen de generación de MUV, absorción, scrap y corte semanal y mensual

• Análisis de variaciones de resultados vs presupuesto y forecast

• Elaboración de resumen de horas producidas absorción y eficiencia de mano de obra.

• Costos actuales vs costos estándar (Materiales, Labor y Overhead)

• Análisis de la relación entre Bill de materiales, rutas y centros de costos.

• Conducir auditorias a los materiales de excesos y obsoletos

• Implementación, registro, revisión y corrección a las estructuras de códigos

• Conducir auditoria a los conteos cíclicos.

• Costeo de nuevos productos

• Proceso de cierre mensual (BnB, VIPs, MUV, MPR, Anaplan)

• Liderar junto con el contralor en las responsabilidades del inventario físico

• Calculo del cost build para el rolado de costos nuevos determinando los rates de materiales, labor y Overhead

• Verificación del costo por SKU al inicio del año fiscal

• Apoyo en cierre mensual.

• Elaboración de conciliaciones de cuentas de balance.

• Participación en presupuesto anual y pronósticos de cuartil.

• Ejercicio de rolado de costos al inicio de cada año fiscal.

• Involucramiento en los Valores y Éticas de Cardinal Health.

• Dar soporte al cumplimiento del Sistema y Política de Calidad.

• Verificar que todos los empleados entiendan tanto los procedimientos de emergencia como los procedimientos de presentación de informes de peligros.

• Responsable de garantizar que sus empleados conozcan los procedimientos de EHS y las políticas específicas para su área, por ejemplo, requisitos de PPE, procedimientos de respuesta a emergencias, etc.

• Comunicar e implementar las actividades de EHS en apoyo de los objetivos y metas del plan anual de EHS.

Liderazgo

• Demostrar el liderazgo en EHS mediante la participación en eventos Kaizen y Subcomités de EHS, liderar los equipos de investigación de incidentes, participar en inspecciones y auditorías internas de EHS y garantizar que se realice una capacitación eficaz en EHS.

• Comunicar los problemas de EHS pendientes de resolución y el estado de las metas.

• Alentar a los empleados a involucrarse en las actividades de EHS.

• Hacer un seguimiento de las inquietudes de los empleados en relación con EHS hasta la resolución de los problemas.

• Implementar e imponer procedimientos y políticas de EHS de modo uniforme y consistente.

• Responsabilizar a los subordinados directos por el desempeño de EHS.

• Medir el desempeño de los empleados y elogiarlos por su conducta positiva y resultados de EHS.

• Orientar de inmediato y asesorar a empleados que se involucran en conductas riesgosas.

• Celebrar el éxito a medida que se logran las metas de EHS o se ejecutan las acciones.

Autoridades

• Requerir que todos los procedimientos y políticas de EHS sean reforzados uniforme y consistentemente.

• Requerir la revisión de EHS para procesos nuevos o modificados, procedimientos o trabajos de contratistas.

• Detener un trabajo si un empleado o contratista que está haciendo el trabajo puede sufrir una lesión seria o un incidente ambiental.

• Requerir se apliquen medidas disciplinarias de acuerdo con las políticas internas cuando no se cumplen con los procedimientos de EHS.

REQUISITOS ESENCIALES

• Lic en Contaduría o carrera afin

• Conocimiento tecnico en  Impuestos y Contabilidad

• 2+ años de experiencia en el area de Costos

• Nivel de ingles: 50-75%

• Manejo avanzado de Excel

• Conocimiento en SAP

• Capacidad de análisis y Control Interno

• Conocimiento AS400 de preferencia
