This position will serve as a Senior Police Officer at the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend VA Medical Center in McAllen, Texas (McAllen VA Clinic). The Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) executes position responsibilities that demonstrate expert leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex procedural care. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of patient care, patient and family education, patient self-management after discharge, and supporting factors that impact customer satisfaction. Collaborates in the development, implementation, evaluation, and revision of policies, procedures, and/or guidelines. The CCL RN delivers and manages the care of patients undergoing therapeutic and diagnostic cardiology procedures including both inpatients and outpatients.
