The Supervisory Interdisciplinary (Branch Chief Design and Construction) is responsible for, and has authority to, initiate, establish, guide, and control a broad range of project planning, design and construction efforts from inception through completion.

• Supervises an interdisciplinary staff of professional designers (engineers/architects/landscape architects) and project managers to accomplish this work within Everglades and Dry Tortugas National Parks.

The WPB VA Medical Center has a designated role in the Geriatrics and Extended Care Service that serves as the Attending Physician and Medical Director of the Community Living Center (CLC). The incumbent provides clinical and administrative oversight of the CLC. They will also be a teaching faculty member in our Geriatrics Fellowship program. They will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University – Worldwide is hiring a Site Director in Hurlburt Field to support its SkillBridge program at the location. The site director will liaison with the military bases’ Transition Assistance Program Coordinator through the Careers Skills Program (CSP) in the region, manage the recruitment and assistance with processing of applications for active-duty military (within 180 days of separation), dependent spouses, and veteran SkillBridge applicants, and support the nine-week on-campus course and faculty. Duties include academic advising, budget, compliance, facility oversight, and University support (including community relations).

Job Responsibilities Include:

Advisement & Student Services

• Provide personalized advising and support for all assigned students
• Assist students with course registration and degree planning
• Counsel students regarding available options for financial aid, scholarships, tuition assistance, Veterans Affairs benefits, etc.
• Proactively contact students upon admission, during enrollment, and at other critical times during their academic career
• Enter and maintain accurate student records on university platforms to include Campus Solutions, Imaging, and Salesforce

Administration & Site Management

• Attend and facilitate local events to establish community contacts, promote ERAU programs, and connect with prospective students
• Research local opportunities for recommendations to the Office of Professional Education and Business Development
• Work with Senior Director to coordinate with the Scheduling Department and Advising Department on schedules for on-site instruction
• Works with Senior Director to liaise with appropriate governmental authorities, industry and community leaders, and internal departments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Develop, monitor, and control the fiscal year site budget
• For sites on military installations, coordinate with the educational services office and productively interact with applicable Educations Services Officer

SkillBridge-Specific Responsibilities

• Conduct SkillBridge presentations in coordination with the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) through the Base’s Transition Office
• Plan and execute SkillBridge Recognition Ceremonies (either on site or virtual)
• Liaison and support Industry Partners. Coordinate industry visits and events
• Liaison with external funding agencies as needed (workforce essentials Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act).
• Ensure students have a mechanical aptitude
• Review command authorization and SkillBridge specific admission criteria documents
• Obtain, review, and provide business analytics documents as require for reporting agencies
• Attend bi-weekly meetings with Director of Military Relations and Strategic Initiatives programs and the AMNT SkillBridge sites.
