Job Scope
· Handle and prepare import and export shipping documentation (Land/Air/Sea Freight)
· Liaise with forwarding agents, clients, and the warehouse department.
· To make sure clients' goods are sent on time and send billing of the invoices.
· Responsible for clients' inquiries such as tracking and tracing shipments.
· In charge of administration matters relating to the Air and Sea operation set-up.
· The person is responsible for communicating with the customers/distributors on their solution needs and after-sales needs.
· The job will require providing the quotation, sales follow, sales forecast, and sales presentation.
· Generate and review sales quotations, order processing, and invoicing.
· Review customer sales orders, proposals, purchase orders, and related information.
· Preparation of documents for sales operations, customer-related reports to management, sales and customers as required.
· Generate price list for sales team, based on information from principals. Monitor &update sales team with relevant information from principals.
· Effectively engage with external customers, suppliers, financiers and internal colleagues including shipping, finance, technical, service, sales and marketing, as required.
· Provide admin support where necessary.e.g. filing, data entry, retrieval of documents, or any other duties assigned.
Job Requirements
· Min. Diploma and above in logistics/ Supply Chain or equivalent
· At least 1-3 years of relevant shipping experience
· Knowledge of MS Excel, Words, Microsoft Dynamic Navision 365 and control of documents.
· Proficient in handling shipping documents and familiar with INCOTERMS
· Have customer service skills.
· Have knowledge of HS code and Strategic Goods Control preferred.
