Formerly known as Bukit Ho Swee Family Service Centre, South Central Community Family Service Centre (SCC) provides support to the low-income and vulnerable families in our community. While giving support to families who seek help in financial, social or relationship issues, we encourage community self-help and cooperation.

• Role: Finance Executive
• Department: Finance
• Reporting to: Finance Manager.
• Location: South Central Community Family Service Centre, Blk 5 Delta Avenue #01-09 S (160005)
Responsibilities:
• Perform day-to-day accounting transactions per charity accounting standards, not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports including the preparation of grant claim reports to relevant funding agencies.
• Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with prevailing accounting standards, and company accounting SOPs/policies.
• Assist in annual budget preparation.
• Liaise with bankers, auditors, and other stakeholders on related matters.
• Maintain fixed assets register.
• Maintain donation records using donor management system and crowd funding databases, and prepare tax deductible receipts & letters of appreciation to donors.
• Conduct in-house training on finance policies and processes to staff.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior.
Competencies and Requirements:
• Minimally Diploma in Business Management/Accounting.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Other accounting qualification or accreditation will be considered.
• Experience in an accounting firm or a large charity is an advantage.
• Familiar with charity related accounting processes and financial governance.
• Able to commence within short notice is highly preferred.
