The right candidate for the position of Senior Tax Associate should demonstrate high standards and a strong client focus to complete the following responsibilities, while working with other members of the team:


Preparation of Business Financial statements
Preparation of Business Tax Returns for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Companies, Trusts & SMSFs
Preparation of Business Activity Statements
Communicate with clients and develop own clients through business development
Review of junior accountants work


The desired skills and experience of the Senior Tax Associate:


A minimum of three years Australian Public Practice experience
CPA or CA qualified (or equivalent)
The candidate should be able to commit to 5 days in the office in North Parramatta
Strong IT skills, working with Excel in particular
Demonstrate strong communication skills
Hard work ethic and committed to meeting deadlines
Strong team player

Our client provides funds management and wealth solutions for institutional investors. This Senior Management Accountant will report to the Head of Finance requiring an autonomous individual to be responsible for the accurate reporting that will facilitate planning decisions for the organisation.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Management Accountant include:

Develop a deep understanding of business unit strategies and financial performance.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly management reports, including budget variance analysis and detailed commentary
Present financial results and insights to business unit leaders
Prepare quarterly board and shareholder reports
Lead the preparation of the consolidated annual budget and forecast, and report variances between actual results and the budget in monthly management reports

As a Senior Management Accountant we are seeking the following skills and experience:

Seeking a CA/CPA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified candidate
Around 4-6 years of experience in Accounting field
Proven experience as a management accountant
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
Advanced MS Excel skills and MS PowerPoint skills.
Financial services experience is preferred
Curious mindset to challenge and seek new and improved ways of doing things

Reporting to the Head of Finance this role is to act as the decision support partner to the business and provide key financial support and input into decisions making.

The purpose of the Trust Accountant role is to ensure accurate and timely trust accounting and month end reporting, reconciliation and initiation of transactions related to the business.
The Role:

Reconciliation of various Trust collection bank accounts
Reconcile the daily loan to bank transactions
Prepare Trust bank account reconciliation
Expense Payable - Reconciliation and accurate accounting for all expense and commission recharge
Working closely with all stakeholders and support ad-hoc queries
Assist with month end reporting

About You:

CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualified Accountant, or working towards professional qualification is desirable
Experience in managing trust accounts
2 years experience within Financial Services is preferred
Intermediate Microsoft Excel
Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
