Position Overview: We are seeking a Business Analyst to support strategic decision-making, enhance process improvements, and deliver data-driven insights that will drive the growth of our renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
Ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and operational goals.
Business Case Development:
Create business cases and project proposals for renewable energy initiatives.
Focus on resource optimization, cost efficiency, and project feasibility.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct detailed analyses of Australian energy market trends and regulatory changes.
Provide actionable insights to guide business growth and strategy.
Process Improvement:
Assess and optimize business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Implement improvements that align with organizational goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with IT, operations, finance, and other departments to implement business solutions.
Facilitate communication across teams for seamless project delivery.
Project Support:
Assist in planning and executing renewable energy projects.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Data Analytics & Reporting:
Utilize data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, Excel) to interpret business data and generate reports.
Present findings to senior management to support evidence-based decision-making.
Post-Implementation Review:
Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Recommend further optimizations based on ongoing analysis and performance reviews.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or certification preferred).
Minimum 1 year of business analyst experience, ideally in the energy or utilities sector.
Strong understanding of Australia’s renewable energy market and regulatory environment.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Tableau).
Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
