Team Overview:
The Markets Operations Equity Derivative Transformation Team is responsible for managing a project portfolio for Equities Middle Office, Futures & Clearing and Prime Brokerage Operations. The Team is accountable for execution of critical and large scale transformation aligned to our Target Operating Model. The portfolio consists of new business, regulatory, risk & control and scale related projects.
This role supports the House OTC Clearing Operations Optimization book of work and is focused on partnering with Operations subject matter experts and managers to transform processes. The role will work in close partnership with Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis of Operational processes including flow mapping, root cause analysis & stakeholder interviews
- Business requirement writing and refinement
- Co-ordination of quality assurance and testing, including issue tracking and resolution
- Close stakeholder partnership on business priorities, problem statement definition and project measures of success
- Contribute to driving an innovative and continuous improvement culture within Market Ops
Qualifications/Must Have Skills:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- 5+ years experience in a fast paced, large global financial services firm, ideally in an operations organization
- Strong business analysis skills including experience working with data
- OTC Clearing knowledge and/or Operations background highly beneficial
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall
- Strong communication skills
- Technical skills including JIRA, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools is high beneficial
