AP Ethics and Compliance team serves as a partner to the business, providing pragmatic, solutions-oriented advice to ensure that Visa has effective, risk-based business decision making, and performing review of key processes to ensure that the activities meet requirements of company policies, international standards and the obligations of regulations and laws of the United States and of those countries in which we operate.

• Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

• Prevention of Sexual Harassment and Discrimination (PSHD)

• Conflict of Interest (COI)

• Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)

• Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF), Sanctions, and Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and

• Other specific legal and compliance requirements

 

Based in Pasay, the Philippines, this position is responsible for the oversight, execution and monitoring of ongoing implementation of the Ethics and Compliance Program in the Philippines and across the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. This position will report to the Regional Ethics and Compliance Officer for SEA.

 

The core responsibilities for this role include:

• Implement and maintain a robust Prevention of Sexual Harassment Standard designed to comply with the Philippines’ legal requirements. Provide effective advisory and oversight on related PSHD compliance processes in the Philippines

• Lead Ethics and Compliance program agenda in collaboration with Site Leaders and Country Manager of the Philippines in maintaining a culture of high ethical standards and integrity

• Execute effective compliance due diligence activities under Visa’s global programs including AML, ATF, Sanctions as well as ABC, COI, PSHD and other compliance policies and procedures for the Philippines businesses and SEA based staff and clients. 

• Continually identify opportunities for efficiencies while ensuring sufficient controls are in place, partner with the business to drive process and control improvements

• Handle queries and provide subject matter advice on various Visa Compliance Programs from both internal and external stakeholders

• Work closely with Legal and Government Engagement to maintain an understanding of the legal and regulatory landscape including the support and maintenance of the legal and regulatory obligations inventory as it applies to Visa

• Support internal audits and regulatory requests, ensure satisfactory resolution of any audit findings and recommendations.

 

Projects you will be involved in include (but are not limited to):

 

As part of the team, you will get opportunity to work on strategically important projects for clients and Visa.

• Work with business and Product owners to ensure timely review, assess and manage Compliance risks for new products, business initiatives and value-added services offered to clients

• Perform AML and Sanctions due diligence and review of new products, participate in client meetings and conduct onsite review

• Deliver Compliance training and workshop sessions to staff across the region and participate in client meetings across the region

• Partner with Risk team for risk assessment exercises to ensure Compliance risks are addressed and collaborate with Legal team to address the regulatory requirements in the region

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

In this key role, you'll oversee the compliance of EU driver and vehicle tachograph regulations, covering our entire fleet across East and South London. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our Purley Oaks depot.

The duties of the Fleet Compliance Manager role will include:

- Reporting to the Senior Transport Manager regarding the levels of fleet compliance

- Managing the compliance of driver domestic hours regulations and road transport working time regulations

- Undertaking regular vehicle gate checks on company vehicles

- Improving regulations of compliance within the Transport division

- Making regular depot visits to manage the compliance of vehicle defect reporting

What skills and experience do you need?

The successful candidate will understand EU driver and tachograph regulations. You will have knowledge of UK driving legislation, traffic laws and will have experience in a transport related environment. A full UK driving license is required and knowledge of compliance for a large fleet of vehicles is desirable but not essential.

Degree is desirable but not essential.

Job Responsibilities

Sample and QC Process Management:

· Ensure all QC sample management, testing, including process validation, cleaning, raw materials, stability samples, water samples, etc., are planned and executed on time.

· Prioritize and plan all testing activities to support processing schedules.

· Plan QC testing on a FIFO basis to eliminate backlog and meet internal QC KPIs.

· Plan work assignments for all QC analysts based on the production plan.

· Support future setup of central QC lab for all BioSolutions within Esco Aster.

Leadership and Team Management:

· Lead the implementation of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

· Lead Quality Control SOP implementation.

· Collaborate with the Analytical Development Team and manage QC Analytical, Microbiology Team to manage the revision and/or change control of QC documents as needed.

· Ensure new Analysts and Specialists are trained appropriately.

· Supervise, develop, engage, and motivate a young and driven team of QC Team Members.

· Manage the routine operations of the QC lab, ensuring business delivery at the right quality, cost, and speed.

· Able to build and lead across functional department consisting of different QC functions and supervisors / deputies / subject matter.

Operational Oversight:

· Oversee several sub-teams such as sample management, reference management, regulatory management, and QC instrument and equipment management.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

· Serve as the QC representative for all customer and agency audits and support the audit of all 3rd party contract facilities.

· Work with Analytical Sciences and Technology (ASAT) to internal or external tech transfer from developed protocols from Analytical Development to Quality control including overseeing method verification, qualification, and validation activities.

Compliance Management:

· Participate in self-inspection and support client audits.

· Manage compliance tasks to ensure the Quality Control department is current and compliant.

· Maintain purchase orders, cost centers, and budgets for the QC department.

· Manage implementation and adherence to all applicable SHE and cGMP regulations.

· Support and oversee 3rd party test labs and ensure test labs are qualified per our QMS.

· Perform calibration and maintenance of QC laboratory equipment working with our CMMS and as per Iso 17025 standards and relevant GLP standards.

· Support/ oversee QC laboratory equipment/system qualification.

The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor and Management from time to time to support GMP activities.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in life sciences with minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control within highly regulated cGMP pharmaceutical industry. Experience is Biologics and ATMPs (i.e. Cell and Gene) is an added advantage.

· Candidates with experience in ATMPs (Cell & Gene) manufacturing are highly preferred but not mandatory.

· Familiar and keeping up to date with current GMP and applicable GxP regulations and standards; experience with regulatory requirements such as Singapore/HSA, US/FDA, EU/EMEA, etc.

· Good understanding of GMP requirements in release testing (Potency, Identity, Content, Impurities, Microbiological safety assays).

· Experience in HPLC, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, dPCR/PCR, Assays and method qualification.

· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decisions and improvements.

· Able to work independently, self- starter, self-motivated and task oriented.
