• Updates the Structure Information Management System (SIMS) with bank branch closings, senior management changes, and bank name changes.
• Initiates and processes all Background Investigation Database System (BIDS) requests, creating records in BIDS to obtain Department of Justice Identification Checks and Name Checks, particularly on proposed new banks.
• Reviews the application approval packages for completeness and consistency.

• Maintains application tracking systems for use by other Regional Office staff (e.g. weekly, monthly and annual reports, etc.) and the Washington Office.
• Maintains appropriate application tracking records by entering comments such as BIDS results, publication, state reply, and consummation dates, as needed, and closing out records when complete.
• Trains personnel in work techniques, procedures and other requirements relative to the applications area.

JOB DESCRIPTION
