We are looking for positive and team-oriented individual to join our dynamic Supply Chain team in Vaughan. The Demand Planner will be responsible for managing demand planning processes and tools with an eye for improvement. The Demand Planner will also play a key role in the future ERP implementation.

This is a hybrid position. You will be required to be on-site 2-days/week.
Your Contributions to the Organization will be:
Analyzing demand forecasts in order to identify sales’ trends across all business segments and to proactively represent any statistical forecasting exception
Creating and maintaining forecast models, assist in incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources into that demand plan utilizing their analytic and interpersonal skills
Proactively developing, analyzing, and recommending finished goods demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation
Identifying areas of forecast risk and improvement opportunities for their assigned demand planning categories
Reviewing historical sale trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, evaluate forecast results
Developing an easy way to quickly compile and analyze month-over-month and year-over-year trends on product groups as required
Assisting in the creation of best-in-class processes to improve forecast accuracy and bias
Collaborating with the Sales teams to ensure better inventory planning, demand Signal Exception Analysis (spikes/ drops), new business materialization and service level analysis
Align forecasts with the company's strategic goals, ensuring that resource allocation and inventory levels are optimized to meet market demands while supporting overall business growth
Engage in scenario planning to better anticipate potential market changes and develop more robust demand forecasts
This Job might be for you if:
Possess a strong understanding of statistical forecasting and inventory optimization techniques. Supply Chain experience is an asset
You’ve completed a College/University education (or certification) in Demand Planning or Supply Chain Management, MBA is an asset
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (preferred)
Understanding the functionalities of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
Proficiency in demand planning softwares, and exposure in or leading Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) preferred
Possess a certification in APCIS CPIM, CSCP or IBF CPF (an asset)
Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence internal and external customers to drive value-added solutions
Acquire strong analytical skills and proven ability to analyze data trends with the use of reporting tools (ex. Excel, Access) and initiate action from findings
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and be able to prioritize effectively
