What will the Chief Executive Officer role involve?
As Chief Executive Officer, you will provide strategic leadership and oversee all aspects of the company's operations. Working closely with the board of directors and the Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring financial sustainability, and advancing the company’s long-term mission. You will act as the company's primary representative to stakeholders, clients, and the public, ensuring alignment with its vision and values;
• Develop and implement business strategies that align with the company’s short-term objectives and long-term vision, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Develop robust financial processes and procedures and ensure best practice.
• Oversee day to day operations, ensuring management in all functions is efficient and effective. You will lead from the front and nurture the existing team, developing others to their maximum potential for the company.
• Build an ambitious strategy with Executive and Operational Board to drive company performance and profitability.
• Act as ambassador of the business and service important client relationship, including some of the largest and most public brands in the UK.
• You will take full ownership for formulating expansion and growth plans, likely by utilising personal/professional executive networks, and leaning on prior experience of driving company growth.
• You will be the key leader in any M&A activity, future investment, or transaction of the business.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the market, industry developments, and competitive landscape. Use this insight to guide the company’s strategic direction and maintain a competitive edge.
Suitable Candidate for the CEO vacancy:
• Proven experience as a CEO or Managing Director, a number one position in business, ideally with experience from any of the Mobile Telecoms, IT hardware, industrial equipment supply, manufacturing, or asset rental sectors.
• As CEO you will have extensive sales experience with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion, developing and implementing profitable business strategies, and will be able to reference previous positions of demonstrable growth.
• You will have strong financial and corporate finance knowledge, balance sheet analysis skills and the ability to navigate complex corporate structures, with the assistance of your Finance Director.
• We are looking for an influential business leader who is ambitious and empowers a business to improve.
• Previous experience of working within Founder representative Boards, and also knowledge of complex Board structures with external investment representatives will be considered advantageous.
