Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham (WTWA) Hospitals HR and OD team has an exciting opportunity for a HR Operational Business Partner to join the team who will lead on a number of exciting workforce programmes across our services.
The post holder will be responsible for:
- The provision of high quality strategic and operational workforce support.
- Ensuring best practice people management within their areas of responsibility and across the wider workforce function.
- HR expertise to business decision making and develop innovative people solutions to support business plans and strategy, in partnership with the Senior HR Business Partners.
- Liaising with other HR colleagues to maintain effective communication links, ensuring that best practice is shared and developed and to facilitate cross-cover of HR services.
- Management of a complex employee relations case load.
- Ensuring the operational and transformational Human Resources operational services are aligned within Divisional and corporate areas, to promote partnership working and the delivery of a proactive and customer centered service, which improves both the service and the patient experience.
We are looking for an experienced NHS HR professional to join our HR team on a permanent basis.
As part of MFT there are a variety of development opportunities that you will be able to access to continue to develop your professional skills.
You will oversee ER cases and help to lead initiatives that support the delivery of the People Plan.
You will manage a team consisting of a HR Operational Manager, Assistance HR Business Partners and HR Advisors.
You will work in partnership with your Senior HR Leadership Team
While you will of course have the pre-requisite skills and knowledge, a 'can do', agile and innovative approach is essential to support the HR operational continuous service improvement and development.
Experience of working in a large complex group structure is desirable.
You must be willing to travel to any of our hospitals on an occasional basis.
The role is primarily based at Wythenshawe Hospital, with travel to other sites as required and agile working (dependent on the needs of the service).
