Position Overview: As a Project Engineer with experience at Wholetech System Hitech (S) Pte Ltd, you will assume a leadership role in managing and overseeing semiconductor plant projects, piping installations, and construction management activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Assume a leadership role in project planning, scheduling, and execution for semiconductor plant projects and piping works.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Lead project teams, providing guidance, direction, and technical expertise.
- Technical Expertise:
- Apply extensive knowledge of semiconductor plant construction, piping systems, and construction management to ensure projects align with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review and approve design specifications, ensuring they meet client requirements and safety standards.
- Construction Management:
- Oversee on-site construction activities, emphasizing safety, quality, and adherence to project plans.
- Foster effective communication and coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure project deliverables surpass client expectations.
- Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Budget and Cost Control:
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and proposals for new projects.
- Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a key point of contact throughout project lifecycles.
- Address client concerns, provide regular project updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- At least Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- Building Construction Supervisor Course (BCSS) will be preferred. Training can be arranged to those necessary. Any other WSH related course will be added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in semiconductor plant construction, piping works, and construction management.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role on complex projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor industry standards, piping systems, and construction best practices.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- PMP or relevant certifications (preferred but not required).
