Job Purpose

Reporting to the AV/CM Director, this person will support the Attending Veterinarian (AV) and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) in assuring that NUS maintains compliance with regulatory requirements, maintains AAALAC accreditation, and has an exemplary animal care and use program. Duties & Responsibilities

Support the AV and IACUC by performing the following tasks:

• Review the majority of animal care and use protocols (new submissions, amendments, annual

reviews, designated member review) and provide recommendations to maintain compliance,

enhance animal welfare, improve study design, and assure procedures are in alignment with

institutional policies, SOPs, and practices.

• Triage protocols and work with the CM Head of Veterinary Services to assign them, as needed, to

other CM veterinarians for review and approval.

• Attend and participate in IACUC meetings

• Serve as AV alternate

• Participate in IACUC inspections (vivarium, satellite facilities, and investigator procedure rooms)

This job aims to address some critical issues about control the propagation of light through the complex photoelectric medium. Applications include the control of various properties of light, such as intensity, polarization, spectrum, and coherence.

The main targets are threefold:

1. Understand in depth the photoelectric effect and polarization of light, and explore new effects, novel phenomena, unique features and high-performance devices based on various polarization control in complex quantum medium with nano- /micro- structures. Research directions include structures design, liner and chiral transport, optical rotation, etc.

2. Study the polarization characteristics of optic in various active materials nano- /micro- structures from the point of view of photophysics and structural design. The research results should be able to efficiently provide a new perspective for understanding the formation of liner and chiral transport behavior, optical rotation, and be expected to provide useful guidance for polarization modulation devices with excellent performance.

3. Find practical schemes to demonstrate the liner and chiral modulation in the complex photoelectric medium, to control the polarization properties of optic waves, to construct the interactions between different complex medium, etc.
Considering the above research targets, the candidate should possess in-depth physical insights and interdisciplinary knowledge of materials science, photonics, physical optics or related fields., etc. Practical experience in the design, fabrication, measurement and characterization of polarization modulation in complex systems is preferred.

The External Identity Product Owner will be responsible for supporting the Singapore based xIAM Product Group Owner, Sr. Manager, as we grow External Identity and Access Management (xIAM) products and services in the Asia Pacific (ASPAC) region. The person in this role will cultivate relationships with regional business, technology and development partners to define how we can support sector and country specific needs. They will provide input to xIAM ASPAC adoption and feature roadmaps across our 7 product areas and collaborate with other Product Owners to influence the development of these features into our suite of products. Additionally, this person will be the one of the primary xIAM contacts for the regional ISRM Business Information Security Officer (BISO) organization, partnering to improve the xIAM intake process and provide feedback on customer identity related concerns and standard processes.

The Product Owner will be responsible for defining country and sector specific requirements and driving delivery of Proof of Concept and “Art of the possible” implementations for ASPAC based on these requirements. They will grow this capability by establishing a working relationship with our internal technology services organization to establish and be a contributor as part of our engineering team that will develop regional specific features as part of the xIAM Okta practice within J&J. A successful candidate for this role would be an identity expert with hands on experience in Okta and enterprise deployments for Customer Identity.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with Sr. Manager in role to expand relationship across 40+ ASPAC business technology leaders, defining roadmaps and timelines to drive xIAM use in region
• Partner with xIAM partners to review features, application requests, and platform design to influence our product backlog
• Hands on development of Okta proof of concepts and ASPAC specific language and integration needs
• Screen technical candidates when growing our teams with identity focused engineers
• Perform demos to collaborators of new Okta features or xIAM developed custom features
• Support regional monthly and quarterly xIAM update sessions and training opportunities to echo the core xIAM team messages
• Continue to train on the Okta platform to expand product knowledge

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the information security or information technology sector
• Demonstrated ability in identity and access management with a focus on Okta or similar toolseet
• Experience developing, integrating, and deploying Okta
• Experience partnering with enterprise leaders and representatives in the identity domain
• Hands on experience defining and implementing product roadmaps
• Solid understanding of IAM principles, protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth, LDAP), and security best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with a distributed team
