The Position

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources your role will involve but not be limited to;

• Advising our District Managers and Leadership Team nationally, providing sound advice and consultation

This role is responsible for the implementation and rollout of an exciting new Learning Management System for Starbucks Australia, as well as aiding the day to day operations of the new platform and providing technical support.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the implementation, delivery, and administration of our new Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring key milestones are met.
• Maintain and review training materials and localisation of content as required.
• Manage enrolments, attendance records and completion records within the Learning Management System to ensure accurate records for the requirements of auditing and reporting.
• Collaborate with the L&D Manager in the planning and implementation of LMS as outlined in the project plan.
• Develop constructive partnerships across all areas of the organisation, ensuring L&D is perceived as professional and responsive to feedback.
• Coordination of Training including scheduling, learning activities, managing learning-related communications, coordinating required resources, and other activities as required.
• Provide support for store partners including responding and resolving issues regarding all aspects Starbucks learning management system rollout, including user issues, content delivery, design, and development issues.
• Work collaboratively with the L&D Manager and other key stakeholder in the business in managing and delivering multiple projects in a timely fashion.
• Support the Store Operations team to ensure maintenance requests are being attended to and stores are adequately supported.

About You
Life as a Learning & Development Coordinator:

• Experience with LMS administration.
• Previous experience in training coordination
• Excellent stakeholder and relationship management, effective collaboration and internal consultancy and advisory experience
• Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels internally and externally.

As a District Manager at Starbucks in Victoria, Australia, you'll play a pivotal role in our success by overseeing a portfolio of Victorian stores. Responsibilities will involve but not be limited to:

• Developing strategic and operational plans for Starbucks Australia's stores, managing execution, and measuring results

This role is responsible for the design management of Starbucks' drive-thru and core stores nationally and a strong pipeline of refurbishments. Your remit will cover working closely with the Asia Pacific Design team, Building Contractors, Developers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered within time, cost and quality parameters. 

Design Coordination:

• Review design development drawings to a high level that comply with BCA requirements, Landlord and Developers Guidelines & Brand specifications.
• Liaise/coordinate closely with Store Development Manager and external consultants such as – but not limited to – Builders, Developers, Site Surveyors, Services Engineers, Structural engineers, Lighting Consultants, AV/IT/Security Consultants in relation to documentation, drawings and job details;
• Work to strict time frames to ensure proficient completion of drawings at a high accuracy level;
• Review of internal design and shop drawings to ensure compliance with briefs and regulations;
• Ensure design packages are complete and in line with brand design brief and finishes selection;
• Create and maintain finishes library for various project reference.

Project Responsibilities:

• Liaising with Project stakeholders such as consultants, contractors, and internal management.
• Responding to the RFI's / RFQ's that arise from stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attending fortnightly PCG meetings with key stakeholders of each project.
• Monitoring evidence of design compliance with authorities (i.e permits, leases) statutory requirements, regulations, and codes of compliance.
• Maintaining project checklists

About You
Successful candidates for this role will have:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Design/Project Manager working on the design and delivery of retail projects
• Organised, methodical and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple projects and reporting at once.
• Experience with QSR and drive-thru projects will be highly regarded
• A skilled negotiator
• High level of attention to detail.
• Great at building strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers, stakeholders and third parties.
• A clear and concise communicator, able to help all stakeholders understand important information
• Proactive and independent individual who takes ownership and responsibilities to achieve the tasks.

This role is responsible for the full lifecycle project management of drive-thru developments nationally and portfolio refurbishments. Your remit will cover working closely with the Asia Pacific Design team, Building Contractors, Developers and commissioning of multiple projects at one time and you will work closely with the Operations Team to ensure projects are delivered within time, cost and quality parameters. 

• Evaluate and incorporate property deals, associated reports and governing authority requirements into project development (i.e. Scope of Works, program, costings)
• Manage the development of project documentation, ensuring compliance with all departmental procedures and processes.
• Project Manage construction process incorporating regular communication meetings with all parties to ensure the awareness of issues and progress is maintained.
• Project manage each project to budget.
• Coordinate the Handover Process (incorporating all disciplines and suppliers) to ensure the operations team are fully briefed on the operation and maintenance of all items.
• As required, participate in annual reviews of preferred consultants/contractors
• Complete final cost analysis.
• Administrate the defects/liability period post opening.
• Ensure the As-Builts Warranties/Guarantees documentation is finalized and archiving of project documentation is completed

About You
