• Function as the main point of contact and service for assigned core / strategic employers.
• Assess needs of new and existing employers, and deliver user-friendly induction and education sessions to employers.
• Obtain feedback from employers on education and support provided.
• Assist new and existing employers to access resources available to employers of PWDs.
• Work closely with employers at different hierarchical levels to promote harmonious industrial relations, resolve worker-centric issues including grievance handling, conflict resolution, negotiation of terms and conditions of employment, and develop policies and procedures involving employment for trainees.
• Assist in conducting employer survey annually for areas of improvement for training and coaching purposes.
• Provide consultation to stakeholders (trainees, caregivers, CFA instructors, etc.) to help them gain a better understanding of different employers’ needs and expectations.
• Work as a team with Allied Professionals such as Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, and Social Worker to mediate and manage expectations of employers and caregivers to meet the needs of trainees at work.

Administration & Others

• Submit monthly reports to RO
• Write articles for APSN newsletter
• Update monthly reports pertaining to employer database, trainee employment records and waitlists.
• Conduct case management meetings
• Submit weekly and monthly logs to RO
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by RO

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in any discipline with minimum 2 years of experience in relevant industries.
• Possess minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Possess experience working with persons with mild intellectual disabilities (MID).
• Patient, team player and able to co-create new content tailored for students/trainees with MID.
• Passionate, well organised, meticulous & independent
• Able to communicate with students, trainees, caregivers and associates of different culture/ backgrounds, preferably conversant in major local dialects (in order to provide consultation to local dialects speaking stakeholders (trainees, caregivers, instructors, etc.) to help them gain a better understanding of different employers’ needs and expectations.)
• Requires travelling around Singapore and may be required to work on weekends/PH
