WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Register TRICARE beneficiaries in the Composite Health Care System (CHCS)
Resolve enrollment discrepancies between systems, and run weekly reports
Perform individual and/or batch Primary Care Manager (PCM) changes, following the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) guidelines
Provide education on TRICARE resources and benefits, enrollment/disenrollment information, and customer service to beneficiaries on the phone and in person
Collect, process, retrieve, and disseminate transfer information to support the TRICARE active-duty portability/disenrollment process
Conduct briefings for In Processing, Out Processing, Maternity, and others
Provide basic claims support such as providing information on the status of claims
Collect and record Other Health Information (OHI) information into applicable systems

FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:

The Leidos Defense group has an opening for a highly motivated individual. The Information Assurance Engineer position at MacDill AFB, FL supports the Global Solutions Management-Operations II (GSM-O II), Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE). The JCSE team provides en-route, early entry, scalable C4 support to Regional Combatant Commands, Special Operations Command, and other agencies. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the systems security meets all DoD/JCSE requirements and design, facilitating system assessments, documentation and providing hands-on security engineering support. Key elements of this position include: Capture and refine information security requirements and ensure their integration into information technology components and information systems: Perform vulnerability assessments, to determine weaknesses and exploit methods in systems/networks; Perform cybersecurity analysis and hardening of complex IT systems; and conducting cybersecurity mitigations on design solutions to comply with Risk Management Framework (RMF) cybersecurity requirements.
Responsibilities include:
Develop Security plan of action and milestones (POA&M) for all open security findings identified on the end-to-end enterprise infrastructure (Data Center, SATCOM Gateway, and deployed kits).
Develop, staff, and maintain security-related statutory/regulatory documentation as required by DoDI 8510, including but not limited to: Cybersecurity Strategy (CS) and Program Protection Plan (PPP).
Conduct weekly meetings to track the security process, status of the accreditation package and finding
resolution on the enterprise infrastructure.
Maintain documentation identifying what cybersecurity STIG, checklist, or control requirements apply for every component or software in the enterprise infrastructure (Data center, SATCOM Gateway, and deployed kits)
Administration of IA scans with appropriate and approved tools (e.g. Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), etc.) of all items as directed. Scans shall be run using the most recent security definitions of each tool.
Track all implementation information for assurance directed guidelines for all hardware as well as applicable software ensuring proper security for the JCSE Enterprise. Provide tracking and summary reports based on findings to leadership. Implementation actions include but are not limited to STIGs, compliant patch implementation/management, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance, integration/ implementation of network or firewall approved devices, and react appropriately to cyber threats.
Support and perform DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) in accordance with CNSSI 1253 and NIST 800-53 (all revisions) for IA controls; 8570/8140 for IA Workforce training and DCID 6/3 for protection of sensitive compartmented information. This also includes the updates required for the JCSE packages and all updated instructions which support the Assess and Authorize (A&A) process.
Assist with developing and maintaining system policies and procedures for network security, virus protection, user accounts, maintenance, and utilization.
Provide technical support and guidance to the cybersecurity team as part of maintaining the JCSE IA processes and procedures in support of computer network defense in-depth protection for the JCSE enterprise infrastructure. Recommend network configuration, policy, training, operational or other changes/updates based on assessed risks.
Coordinate with internal and external organizations, agencies, and activities to support resolution of security issues, accreditation and waiver requests that impact the ability to obtain connection approval.
Recommend connection approval, disapproval or modification based on security risks and system vulnerabilities.
Provide system administrator (ex. Linux, Windows, Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention/Detection Systems, End Point Security) support installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, administrating, and cybersecurity hardening of operating systems on both the classified and unclassified systems (SIPR and NIPR).
Maintain configuration documentation for the JCSE Enterprise to include network diagrams, technical sensor/administrative & policy POCs, and related information.
Ensure proper protection of data in transit, in accordance with DoD policy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification (Security+/CE, CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, etc.)
Education: BS Degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.

The Leidos Digital Modernization sector currently has an opening for a Systems Engineer to work on a high-profile datacenter migration project in Suitland, Maryland to provide technical leadership and support in the areas of IT planning, solution specification/design, implementation and target architecture development for the AFNCR Consolidated Communication Center (CCC). The Engineer will support the 844th Communications Group at Joint Base Andrews (JBA). This role includes supporting the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) and Headquarters Air Force (HAF) customers on both NIPRNet and SIPRNet domains for the development of the CCC building. The qualified candidate will have knowledge of information technology commercial solutions and experience designing and developing technical solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members and the Lead Engineer to identify, assess, and present options for meeting the functional and technical requirements, which may include hardware and/or software.
Assist with designing and defining solution capabilities that satisfy customer business drivers/requirements and meet service delivery objectives.
Prepare solution packages, documenting recommended technical solutions.
Manage and configure VDI environments.
Document and enforce hardware standards.
Manage and maintain IP addressing schema.
Assist with directing the execution of the full project lifecycle, from planning, through implementation, to operational readiness.
Performs security hardening, patching and server certificate updates. Works with Cloud technologies.
Develops documentation for System Installation Plans and System Administration Guides.
Perform other tasks as directed by Lead Engineers or Project Manager
Provide transparent and regular status updates in requested format
Install, configure, and troubleshoot server systems (i.e., Windows, Linux, Appliances)
Research, make decisions and be organized.
Effectively utilize written and verbal communication on a regular basis.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree with 2 plus years related experience or a Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Currently possess an active Secret security clearance.
Successful systems development experience involving COTS/GOTS integration
Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Visio.
Experience maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection and other guidelines where appropriate.
ITIL training and/or certification.
Security+ CE or higher.
Ample experience with VMs and application migrations in general.
Understand snapshot, cloning and vMotion.
Proven experience as a VMware Engineer or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Server).
Strong knowledge of server hardware, storage, and networking concepts in virtualized environments.
Experience with designing and implementing VMware virtual infrastructure solutions, including scalability and high availability considerations.
Experience with standing up ESXi hosts, various versions, AD integrations, time, and DNS services.
Experience with VMware licensing.
Experience with NSX tool, install, configure and various migration strategies.
Desired Skills and Certifications:
VMware certifications (such as VCP, VCAP, VCIX) are highly desirable.
MCSE certification.
Experience with vRealize tools such as vROPs, VRNI, HCX, and vCloud.
Expertise with metro or stretched cluster, VMware vSAN, in a standalone cluster as well as the stretched cluster and data replications.
Expertise with VMware affinity rules, High availability, and DRS as well as host patching and upgrades.
Good understanding of stretched cluster networking requirements, VMware and network ports and protocol, vSAN policies, VMware vCenter 7 and ESXi 7, and security requirements, ESXi 7 STIG and certificates requirements.
Understanding of data deduplication, compression and encryption, witness site and its rule, and nested nodes.
Proficiency in troubleshooting VMware-related issues, analyzing logs, and diagnosing performance problems.
Exposure to Oracle and SQL databases.
ITSM knowledge and experience, particularly with Remedy.
