Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (Anticoagulation Clinic Program Manager), GS-13:

The Program Manager, Anticoagulation Clinic functions at the highest level of clinical practice and performs duties of a clinical, teaching, and program management nature routinely functioning with a high level of autonomy and independent decision-making as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) operating under a scope of practice. • Operational implementation of Pharmacogenomics data initiatives under the Pharmacogenomics Program (NPP).
• Direct, support and troubleshooting of the day-to-day data operations for NPP's PGx testing program and initiatives across VAMCs.
• Assists the NPP Deputy Director and NPP Program Manager with long-term data planning for and data monitoring of NPPs PGx Program implementation.
• Develop and manage applicable project charters, plans, resource identification and acquisition, implementation strategies, communications, monitoring and reporting standards, as well as project closure and evaluation.
• In-depth analysis, best practice models, and creative quality program techniques.
• Provide oversight for delivery of program objectives and continuous quality improvement where applicable.
• Serve as a resource to NPP staff and partners in identifying, accessing, developing, and maintaining the appropriate complement of data resources, collaborators and support needed to achieve their goals, identify potential obstacles, and collaboratively solve emerging problems.
• Develops the scope of analytical studies, benchmarking, and transformation initiative evaluations and implementation plans involve studies of similar efforts across other federal agencies and healthcare systems and adopting best practices when possible and practical.
