• Work with various teams (VMWare, NetBackup, & hardware) as needed to support the infrastructure.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and its applicability to their area of work

Requirements

At least 6 years’ experience in the administration of Linux Servers in an enterprise environment.

Strong technical knowledge and experience in administration and maintenance of Linux(RedHat Linux/SUSE/CentOS) including:

• Clustering (Pacemaker cluster)
• RedHat Virtualization or Oracle KVM (oVirt)
• Storage Admin/SAN technology, in particular, from System perspective
• System and network security, including use of RBAC
• SSH/SFTP/SSL
• DR implementation
• Shell Scripting (Unix shell) Ansible, Python and/or Ruby will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of containers, Kubernetes and DevOps, Web servers, Tomcat will be an added advantage
• Certifications in the above administration skills will be an added advantage
