Your New Role

As Director of Corporate and Internal Communications, you’ll play a pivotal role in our organization's regional leadership team. You’ll be leading the development and execution of communications strategies, corporate messaging, internal communications and executive communications relative to the strategic direction of Warner Bros. Job Purpose

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role oversees group accounting activities for corporate office and subsidiaries. Job is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reporting), working closely with external auditor to ensure all audit requirements are met. This job also ensures effective internal controls are in place and prepares the organization for both internal and external audits. Responsibilities

Financial Policies, Guidelines, and Protocols
• Responsible for the development and execution of the corporate financing strategy and policies through specialist expertise and insights, ensuring that the strategy meets APLL's long term business priorities.
• Communicate the action plan and key activities proposed and required, explaining how this supports APLL's broader mission, vision and business goals.

Accounting and Reporting
• Manage the Group’s financial reporting obligations, with responsibility for preparation and submission of monthly report, quarterly group consolidated reports to KWE Japan, and yearly audited financial statements for APLL group, APLL SG and APLL Americas.
• Manage accounting function for holding company entities; ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.

KPMG M&A and Capital Advisory has a strong deal pipeline and the selected candidates will be actively involved in day-to-day deal execution and origination activities.

Responsibilities:

• Providing buy-side and sell-side M&A services to corporates and private equity funds
• Participating in meetings and maintaining continual interactions with clients, potential targets/buyers and other professional firms
• Leading preparations of proposals and discussion materials
• Conducting detailed financial analysis, valuation, industry research and target/buyer search
• Preparing information memorandums and management presentations
• Facilitating due diligence processes
• Supporting negotiations and closing procedures

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher academic qualifications
• Possess more than 5 years of working experience in M&A, capital raising, fund raising, accounting/transaction services, investment banking or relevant services
• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modelling, with a good understanding of corporate finance and M&A
• Regional (specifically Malaysia, Vietnam or Thailand) transaction experience would be an advantage
• Highly motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment and work as a team player
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
