• Be the empowered teams leader for a group of engineers, designers, and analysts and be responsible for the team and its objectives
• Define and create the product strategy and roadmap for your problem space
• Collaboratively solve for high impact problem statements by identifying solutions and driving it from idea to development to rollout and experimentation

Day-to-day activities

• Lead an empowered multidisciplinary team (Data scientists, engineers, business partners) to identify platform vulnerabilities, user pain points and brainstorm solutions to mitigate fraudulent activities within Grab's ecosystem
• Collaborating with engineering, data analytics and design to develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, and execute on delivering innovative and user-centric fraud solutions
• Meticulously define and communicating product requirements and specifications by thinking creatively and rigorously about problem-solving
• Partnering with business counterparts and other stakeholders on well-defined go-to-market plans
• Defining success metrics and consistently measuring the impact of your work

The Must-Haves:

• 8+ years of experience as a product manager in technology or technology platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to independently operate in a complex and ambiguous environment, constructing clear strategies and roadmaps supported by analysis and data from loosely defined priorities and goals.
• Demonstrated success in creating and managing products through the full software product lifecycle.
• Unafraid to make challenging tradeoff decisions
• Degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, business, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies to all levels from executive leadership to engineering and operations.
• Passion for the tech industry and building delightful product experiences with an ownership mindset to learn, influence, and not shy away from hard stuff to meet objectives.

As TPM for the APEX team, you will be working with dynamic engineering teams who are on a mission to build Services and Tools that will empower and scale across every engineering team at Grab.

The day-to-day activities:

• General project and program management - define and drive project timelines, milestones, track & report progress, resolve impediments.
• Quarterly roadmap planning and prioritization.
• Deliver programs that span across multiple cross-functional Engineering teams.
• Continuously find ways to help teams and the organization improve how it delivers.
• Facilitate Technical whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project implementation details and remove blockers for the team.

The must haves:

• At least 8 years of expereince in Technical Program Management or a similar technical leadership role in the Tech Industry.
• Manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned program delivery.
• As a TPM, you will be working with a team focusing on building Infrastructure, platforms, and technologies for various Grab internal teams whose mission is to build products that impact the lives of millions of passengers, drivers, and merchants every day.
• Create and maintain the Delivery Roadmap for the teams you work closely with, along with the respective Tech Managers and Tech leaders.
• Define how to drive these programs and continuously find ways of improving this process in a data-driven manner.
• Embrace Grab’s culture and principles and promote an environment which embodies Grab’s Principle and Values.
• Project/Program delivery with a strong technical leadership background in various Cloud Product suites such as AWS/Azure/GCP etc.

• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where autonomy and self-decision making is needed (to an extent) and able to juggle between different projects/tasks.
• Experience in leading a team of technical program managers in fulfilling organization goals and objectives is desirable
• Experience advising on technical solutions whenever needed is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in program managing complex Technology infrastructure projects.
• Experience in internal platform delivery.
