What You Do

Singapore is particularly well placed to lead research in this field as its health system has been consistently ranked as one of the best in the world based in independent evaluation with the Global Burden of Disease data. The new Centre for Research in Health Systems Performance (CRiHSP) aims to advance research in this area within the Yon Loo Lin School of Medicine of the National University of Singapore (NUS) as the leading centre for research in health systems in Asia with the following core functions:

1. Research: empirical and methodological research and evidence synthesis on health systems performance with a particular focus on Value Based Healthcare.

Job Description

The multidisciplinary team of researchers in health systems (health services and policy researchers, data scientists, social scientists, and others), and administrators working in CRiHSP will provide an exciting and dynamic place in which people of diverse backgrounds collaborate towards the common goal of achieving excellence in Health Systems Research. The team will further benefit from a significant expansion in related fields and collaborations with the Department of family Medicine at the National University Health System (NUHS), the new Centre for Sustainable Medicine (CoSM) and the Centre for Behavioural and Implementation Sciences Interventions (BISI) at the School of Medicine and the Saw See Hock School of Public Health.

• Assisting the Business Units in preparing business grant and collaboration proposals.

2. Business Research

• Assists to acquire research material of identified market segments, including existing and targeted customer segments, to support functions of the Company.
• Performs targeted research on specific trends or topics as commissioned by the Management, and able to derive recommendations to the Company based on conducted analysis.

3. Productivity Validation

• Conduct validations of productivity projects implemented by the Business Units and prepare the validation report to Management.

4. Balanced Scorecard (BSC)

• Initiate the quarterly BSC exercise and prepare the Group BSC reports.
• Proactively gather BSC targets, data sets and relevant information from the Business Units.

5. Fulfils other tasks as assigned by the Senior Corporate Planning & ERM Manager.

3. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

• Address internal audit matters promptly.

• Stay updated on laws, regulations, and industry standards.

4. Crisis and Reputation Management:

• Develop and execute crisis management plans.

• Respond to emergencies, incidents, or reputational challenges.

• Coordinate communications and actions to protect the organization's reputation and maintain community trust.

Requirements

• Min Diploma / University degree preferred.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
