• Selection & preparation of temperature-controlled packaging solutions from our onsite inventory to include (PCM / Liquid Nitrogen & Dry ice solutions) in conjunction with client requirements.
• Dealing with telephone enquiries from internal departments and managing a shared inbox , to include the receipt of new packaging bookings and other queries.
• Shared responsibility of ensuring the hygiene levels within the facility are maintained to the highest standards.
• Loading & unloading of vehicles both manually & using the onsite forklift.
• Preparation of consol consignments for transferring to other Quick International facilities.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• Experience of handling temperature controlled & time critical consignments.
• Specialist (Life Sciences / AOG) Courier Operations Experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of the various temperature-controlled packaging solutions available on the open market to forwarders.
• Previous industry experience of Warehouse & Transport in a fast paced environment
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work successfully under pressure and to strict deadlines

The role is 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off from 6am-6pm with a 1 hour lunch. The tasks will involve work on the companies' computer system and communication with their sales team and trade suppliers. Working alongside the Senior Purchasing Executive, training on their specific Sage accounts system will be provided, but familiarity with MS Office and computers is essential.

Daily tasks will include:

* Procurement administration
* Preparation and sending of orders across to suppliers
* Liaising with our sales team
* Call handling
* Daily/weekly/monthly report running

For this role you will need to:

* Be able to multitask
* Be confident in your customer service abilities
* Be organised and have high levels of attention to detail
* Have solid Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
* Be able to communicate confidently and professionally
* Be able to work on a variety of tasks in a structured, thorough and efficient manner
* Be comfortable being in an environment where priorities can change quickly, you will need to adapt to support the needs of the business as necessary
* Be able to take responsibility for all tasks undertaken and see them through to completion
