Digital signage market is mainly consist on H/W(LCD/LED Signage) and software(CMS, Contents management System). Samsung has been market share no.1 in digital signage H/W market over a decade and trying to improve the H/W sales capacity and inventory in the field by providing additional solution and SVC. DaaS(display as a service) is the business goal to achieve this vision which is software centric subscription business model that is performing on Samsung’s proprietary open platform(Called VX platform).
As a B2B Solution sales manager, the candidate is responsible for S/W solution sales. This role works very closely with VX(Visual Experience) team in HQ, Korea to develop sales plan and supports subsidiary’s channel sales and Key account managers to increase sales attach rate to H/W focused offering.

Deliver the Plan: A core part of the role will be working with each of the sales channels to ensure accurate forecasting is in place for the defined period. Key Objectives:

• Lead the team to drive sales forecasting and performance tracking across the sales channels, identifying and assessing initiatives that will ensure success and overcome barriers.

Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Lead credit risk across a portfolio 1000+ customers in a business experiencing significant growth and annual revenues of £3 billion plus. You will personally have ownership of c.300 customers which are mostly international.

• Manage the Vendor onboarding and credit assesments of these in line with HQ policies.

• Build effective relationships with senior Finance management (up to FD level) at Samsung’s key customer accounts. Understand significant changes/events that impact customers’ financial strength (e.g. changes to capital structure, changes to terms of borrowing facilities, acquisitions, disposals etc.) and evaluate the impact on Samsung’s credit decisions. Present conclusions to UK Head of Credit and FD and acquire their buy-in to high profile credit decisions.

• Be confident in underwriting “own risk” credit decisions. Prepare detailed analysis of the customers’ business and financials to support such decisions.

• Work with UK Sales team to proactively identify potential issues ahead of time (e.g. customers nearing credit limits, customers with deteriorating creditworthiness) and address them appropriately.

• Liaise with Sales and Commercial functions to understand business direction and requirements (e.g. new product launches, entry into new markets). Resolve and implement strategy and plans to support business requirements.

• Find solutions to meaningful issues, for example, where Samsung is pursuing growth in market sectors facing economic difficulties.

• Provide reports to senior management analysing market economic conditions and trends, customer health profiles etc. Recommend appropriate action and implement.

• Work closely with Accounts Receivable team to provide support on credit and risk issues.

• Work with the Head Office credit risk team ensuring provision of reporting, analysis and information as needed.

• Undertake analysis of financial documents and payment history in order to assist in reaching accurate conclusions.

Position Summary

This role is part of SEUK MX division and will have a key part in ensuring the efficient operational management of within the SCM function. The role will work within a team of SCM specialists responsible for managing the day to day SCM relationship with a number of key accounts. Your Key Responsibilities:

• MENA Lead Content Acquisition – Senior Manager Strategic Partner Development, TV Plus, this person defines and delivers long-term data driven content acquisition strategy with strategic set goals through the year, establishing commercial agreements with partners to improve the company’s market position, increase monthly viewing and achieve financial growth.

• Have an in-depth understanding of what content will work within a FAST and AVOD environment in MENA (with a starting focus on Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Egypt) and work closely with EU team to ensure that there is strategic alignment on content sourcing strategy

• Responsible for sourcing and negotiations across all 3rd party FAST channels and AVOD partners for MENA business.

• Work closely with Samsung legal teams to communicate commercial terms to enable Legal to draft Licence Agreements. A broad understanding of legal terms and contract construct essential. .

• Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments

• Manage, track, and input all key points from portfolio partner deal pipeline and agreements including business terms, payment schedules, and additional rights and obligations. Disseminate contract summaries and partner updates across key internal partners including legal, content operations, editorial, marketing, ad operations, PR and finance

• They will work closely with both the Partner Management and Licensing Third Party Channels team as well as the BD, Product Management (which incorporates marketing) and Ad Sales functions within the ESBO team.

In addition, they will also work closely with the global Samsung teams to drive key initiatives pertaining to the Smart TV ecosystem.

We are looking for an experienced contracts & commercial lawyer for up to 12 months cover for a Senior Legal Counsel. You will be working in Samsung’s Europe Office (EO) legal team heading up the contracts & commercial pillar and supporting the Legal Counsel and the paralegal, as well as the wider team.

EO Legal support the European business teams working on matters with pan-European scope. In addition, we provide legal advisory services to Samsung affiliates across Europe as well as to our Korean Headquarters.

Provision of timely and detailed legal advice in relation to legal questions and proposed commercial arrangements together with issue spotting and problem solving. Drafting of relevant documentation, including:

• Preparation and negotiation of a broad range of commercial contracts and associated documentation (e.g. MSAs, pan-European framework agreements) relating to the various EO business activities;

• Preparation and negotiation of a range of services and supplier contracts, including marketing and software services agreements, agreements facilitating the distribution of Samsung services, as well as contracts for data, systems and software relating to Samsung’s platforms;

• Proactively supporting the European affiliate legal teams with EO related contract and commercial related queries, including drafting of pan-EU contracts for the procurement of services and to facilitate key projects / engagement with key partners;

• Seeking and coordinating input where necessary from other colleagues across the team and the business;

• Helping to develop and understand risk mitigation strategies for contractual and business risks;

• Helping to develop and maintain effective contract processes, our contract management system and precedent agreements and all relevant end user documents;
