JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To assist the Architectural (QP)/ Superintending Officer Representation (SO Rep) in carrying out supervision works on site, including any off-site manufacturing as instructed by the SO Rep, and also assist on supervising & coordination with other Resident Technical Officers at site.
• To check that contractor executes preliminaries items according to the contract documents and as required by prevalent Authorities’ regulations.
• To study available documentation and take all reasonable steps and conduct Quality Control / Inspection of all Architectural works to ensure that quality and standards are achieved as required by Architectural (QP) / SO Rep and as specified in the contract documents.
• To check and verify drawings, service routes and Contractor's setting out and report discrepancies or deviations to the Architectural (QP) / SO Rep.
• To supervise, keep and maintain site records including but not limited to progress of works, record of tests, all variation instructions from the Architectural (QP) / SO Rep, requests for inspections, site safety, site diary, construction sketch issuances, instructions given to Contractors, materials and equipment delivered to site, daily activities and weather conditions at site, DfS Guides (e.g. Guide 1 to 3) and any other significant information.
• To attend site and technical coordination meetings as directed.
• To provide standing supervision as and when required by Contractors and/or as directed by the Architectural (QP) / SO Rep, and in compliance with the relevant Building Control Regulations.
• To assist the Architectural (QP) / SO Rep to verify reports and claims submitted by Contractors.
• Report on site safety, security and housekeeping matters.
• To attend to Contractor's queries and monitor works of Main Contractor, Sub-Contractors and direct Contractors/Suppliers at site, work with Arch Consult to respond in a timely manner and report any delays to Arch Consultant immediately.
• To inspect and take over completed works, report on defects and prepare list of defective works, sign off defects rectifications in preparation for handover of works.
• To cover the duties of the other RTO in his absence.
• To undertake any other duties related to the project as and when instructed by the Architectural (QP) / SO Rep.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Architecture or Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering from local Polytechnic or other tertiary institutions of equivalent standing.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a Resident Technical Officer.
• Registered with IES/ACES Singapore for Resident Technical Officer's certificate for recent 5 years would be preferred.
• Has good working knowledge of Architectural and Interior Design finishing works and compliance to local Building Regulations
• Candidate must have a strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried out.
• Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Past work experience in Healthcare / Residential / Institutional projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and production of all online and offline marketing, branding and communications materials.
• Conceptualise and produce all in-house creative deliverables including but not limited to PowerPoint presentation decks; cut sheets; brochures; project tender documents and submissions; infographics, digital assets, videos, photography and event materials, etc.
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand.
• Ensure all graphics, designs and layouts are visually appealing, on-brand, and aligned with brand guidelines and objectives.
• Conceptualise and develop creative campaigns assets across digital and social media, in accordance with corporate guidelines, and in collaboration with Group Branding & Communications team.
• Work closely with analysts and economists, planners, business and product development team, market positioning and investment promotion teams, and engineers, to deliver compelling and impactful graphics and creative output for various audiences and markets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, fine arts, and multi-media content production or related fields is a plus.
• At least two years of creative commercial design experience would be an advantage.

Business Development Executive

We are seeking a team player to join our Business Development team, to identify new opportunities and spearhead new exciting pursuits, spurring SAA’s growth in 2023 and beyond.

In this lead coordinator role, you will work with each pursuit team to facilitate collaboration across internal stakeholders, such as project leads, design leads, sub-consultants, and other groups as needed to assemble and submit successful proposals. You will collaborate across the different teams in SAA and drive everyone together in a fast-paced environment.

To succeed in this role, you should be able to manage tight and simultaneous timelines across ongoing pursuits. Strong writing skills, attention to detail with each unique pursuit, and a pro-active work mindset are also essential.

Your Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with the Business Development Director to source and strategise for new opportunities for business streams.
• Prepare bid timelines and track teams across key events to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare bid checklists and matrices in conjunction with timeline to track all deliverables to be coordinated, produced, and submitted.
• Lead new pursuit kick-off meetings to brief bid teams on pursuit details and strategies.
