About our role: As Student Welfare Advisor you will have the knowledge & ability to provide advice, guidance and information on personal, predominantly welfare and disability related issues to students at each stage of the learner pathway.
Our role will also involve providing advice, guidance and information to Faculty and Business Support teams on supporting students to overcome personal barriers to learning, working closely our partner Universities to provide a structured system of support in line with our processes and policies.
You will ideally have knowledge in the government benefit system and housing regulations etc. and dealt with various crisis matters for example homelessness, financial hardship, violence, abuse etc.

Responsible for the delivery of provision of student welfare services, including one
to-one appointments, workshops and events, accommodation advice and
support, funding/financial advice and student health advice (all advice to be
within specified policies), learning support and disability support.
To be a member of the safeguarding team, assessing risks and delivering training
to staff
Ensure the provision of professional services (externally where necessary) to ensure students have access to appropriate support. This may include counselling, learning and disability support for example, ensure students are effectively signposted to external agencies when appropriate.
Assessing and making Safeguarding referrals and providing appropriate support
and assistance providing an emergency service for students in immediate
distress.

Human Resources Compliance Officer
Location: Slough (Hybrid 2- 3 days a week in the office)

You'll be the face of the People team to our customers. You'll be responsible for supporting people through the moments that matter during the employee life cycle. You'll be their first point of contact and you'll provide a high quality and customer focused service whilst always trying to make things better.
As the People Services Compliance Officer, you will support with all compliance matters relating to right to work, immigration, disclosure and BPSS checks and Ofsted requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support your manager with all compliance obligations throughout the PS administration process.
Work closely with your manager to ensure the business remains compliant within its legal requirement for Ofsted, disclosure and BPSS checks, right to work and immigration and all related administration processes are adhered to with the support of regular reporting and monitoring.
Work closely and proactively with the PS team to ensure appropriate RTW checks have been carried out correctly for sponsored workers and others with an immigration status before they start work/extend contract/switch to another visa category.
Lead on the visa application process for staff, including issuing certificates of Sponsorship (CoS), ensuring the manager and applicant are kept up to date with progress.
Verify Employer Checking Service (ECS) checks and ensure Positive Verification Notice expiry dates are inputted on the HR system, escalating any Negative Verification Notices for appropriate action.
Continued monitoring of;
Right to Work, Immigration & UK legislation compliance. Verify accurate input of nationality, passport details, Right to Work permission, and visa expiry dates on HR System.
Future visa expiries, proactively tracking, following up and actioning where necessary, escalating where required.
BPSS compliance for employees with access to government data both inside and outside of the UK.
Correct disclosure levels
Experience required:
Proven experience of working within a varied and fast paced People team environment.
Working knowledge and understanding of immigration legislation, UKVI Points Based System, Sponsorship and Right to Work rules, with a willingness to learn and develop.
Ability to follow and ensure compliance with processes.
Ability to work independently and use initiative to develop methods for tracking and monitoring compliance.
Experience of delivering high quality customer service.
Experience of Microsoft office suite with intermediate MS Excel.
CIPD level 3, equivalent HR Qualification or experience

Most days you'll be delivering engaging learning events/training sessions/workshops to our learners in a classroom or virtual setting, with cohort numbers from 8 people plus. Other days you'll design and develop new learning materials based on client briefs and work on developing your own skills and knowledge to keep your expertise fresh.

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Product Communication Manager who will develop an internal product communication strategy and create technical communication materials to maximize product understanding and usage. Working closely with the Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams, they will ensure that product updates, features, and launches are communicated effectively and efficiently, both internally and externally.
A 'day in the life' of a Product Communications Manager:
Develop and maintain product documentation, including user guides, technical bulletins, release notes, FAQs, and in-app guides.

Provide necessary product information and materials to Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams.

Your experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in product marketing, product management, technical writing, UR/UX or a related field.
Experience in creating and executing communications strategies and processes.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
Ideally we would require a Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent, if not at least relevant experience in a similar role.

deliver a first class and focused front-line service attending to all face to face, written and telephone enquiries.

Provide internal departments with a good and effective service. respond to Incoming telephone calls, letters, emails in a timely and professional manner.
assist with the enrolment and induction of students where required.
NB very occasionally you will be required to work evenings and weekends for cover and during peak periods.

Good administration skills with attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Excel and Word.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Managing a busy and varied workload, in a pressurised environment, adhering to deadlines
