NHS South-East London (SEL) Integrated Care Board (ICB) - Bromley has established an in-house All Age Continuing Care (AACC) service comprising of managers, clinical leads, nurses and support officers. The service has a duty to deliver the ICB’s statutory requirements and to manage the AACC budget.

SEL ICB has commissioned Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) to provide an AACC Partnership Delivery Service (PDS) which will work alongside the ICB in-house AACC team based in Bromley to deliver the totality of requirements for the service. The PDS will be a clinical-led service that will deliver CHC nurse-led assessments and reviews, in support of the completion of Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Decision Support Tools (DSTs). The service will also provide additional AACC administrative support services.

The MLCSU PDS will be delivered in line a ‘hybrid’ model of working, with a mix of office-based working from the Bromley ICB office and remote working. High-cost area allowances will apply to this role where there is a service requirement to routinely work from the London base and/or to be available to work within the local operational area (a minimum of 40% of contracted hours)

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the All Age Continuing Care (AACC) team in completing a range of clinical assessment and care reviews which will include development and review of Personal Health Budgets (PHBs).

As a Clinical Nurse Assessor this would include case management in line with the national framework and management of AACC packages of care, ensuring value for money placements which meet the needs of the individual and identify opportunities for development and improvement to assist delivery of best practice healthcare.

The post holder will ensure that they, and the team, always adhere to the NHS Continuing Healthcare National Framework, and promote the use of PHBs; working within established policies, procedures, protocols and systems, ensuring quality standards and performance.

Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated registered pharmacy technician to apply for the Pharmacy Technician Project Support Manager role. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Integrated Care Board (ICB) Medicines Optimisation Team Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System, working within a team of highly skilled and motivated Pharmacists and Technicians who share an overarching goal to support quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness of prescribing in Staffordshire.

There is opportunity to be a key part in the delivery of broad range of medicines optimisation projects covering strategic programmes such as high cost medicines, formulary management, prescribing analysis, and Medicine Optimisation governance. These all building on and utilising the key skills of Pharmacy Technicians in providing technical support to agreed projects, facilitating the development, effective delivery and monitoring of the project plans within the overarching Medicines Optimisation Strategy

The successful applicant will require excellent IT skills, Office Packages, particularly Excel for data analysis. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate good communication and organisational skills.

Key responsibilities will include the ongoing monitoring and review of high cost drugs/technologies. Including the monitoring of projects and work streams (for example, prescribing data analysis) and the day-to-day management of BlueTeq and Net Formulary which are software systems used within the team. The post holder will use an extensive range of prescribing analysis and data systems such as ePACT2, PrescQIPP, BlueTeq, Net.formulary, MedOptimise and GP clinical systems to allow them to play a key role in detailed prescribing data and analysis for the general monitoring of the prescribing budget and clinical, quality prescribing performance management. NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU), Personalised Healthcare Commissioning (PHC) are looking to appoint a Band 7Court of Protection Lead Practitionerto join our existing friendly Bank worker team.

The role will be responsive to ICB priorities and expectations, whilst working on their behalf and representing them at Court and with all court applications. This will need to be balanced with understanding of best interest principles and provide an objective and considered representation to all parties including patients and their representatives.

This is a specialised and complex area of work which provides practitioners with an extremely varied and interesting case load. There is an expectation for any practitioner to be able to work autonomously but with the confidence that there will always be support available from the wider team and the Clinical Lead. Every case provides opportunities for learning and development and supports with your development as a practitioner.

If you are a confident practitioner with experience of working with the realms of Mental Capacity Act, who is organised and efficient, can work to tight deadlines whilst managing extremely complex information and constantly working to promote the patient's best interests, we would love to hear from you.

The postholder will lead on Court of Protection (CoP) cases across the responsible ICB areas and support the CSU compliance with The Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivations of Liberty (DoL).



The post will involve being responsible for all CoP cases on behalf of the ICB, this will include both cases within court proceeding such as Section 21a challenges and coordination and completion of Community Deprivation of Liberty Cases where the ICB is funding the care. There would be an expectation that the practitioner provides support and guidance to the wider CSU service in relation to the MCA and associated legislation, ensuring that all practice carried out is complying with MCA.

Professional

• Provide clinical leadership and expertise to clinical staff who manage clinical commissioning services for patients that fall under Continuing Healthcare (CHC), joint funding and complex care funding

Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated registered pharmacy technician to apply for the Pharmacy Technician Project Support Manager role. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Integrated Care Board (ICB) Medicines Optimisation Team Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care System, working within a team of highly skilled and motivated Pharmacists and Technicians who share an overarching goal to support quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness of prescribing in Staffordshire.

There is opportunity to be a key part in the delivery of broad range of medicines optimisation projects covering strategic programmes such as high cost medicines, formulary management, prescribing analysis, and Medicine Optimisation governance. NHS South-East London (SEL) Integrated Care Board (ICB) - Bromley has established an in-house All Age Continuing Care (AACC) service comprising of managers, clinical leads, nurses and support officers. The service has a duty to deliver the ICB’s statutory requirements and to manage the AACC budget.

SEL ICB has commissioned Midlands & Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) to provide an AACC Partnership Delivery Service (PDS) which will work alongside the ICB in-house AACC team based in Bromley to deliver the totality of requirements for the service. The PDS will be a clinical-led service that will deliver CHC nurse-led assessments and reviews, in support of the completion of Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Decision Support Tools (DSTs). The service will also provide additional AACC administrative support services.

The MLCSU PDS will be delivered in line with the agile working policy to enable a ‘hybrid’ model of working, with a mix of office based working from the Bromley ICB office and remote working.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the All Age Continuing Care (AACC) team in completing a range of clinical assessment and care reviews which will include development and review of Personal Health Budgets (PHBs).

As a Clinical Nurse Assessor this would include case management in line with the national framework and management of AACC packages of care, ensuring value for money placements which meet the needs of the individual and identify opportunities for development and improvement to assist delivery of best practice healthcare.

The System Co-ordination Centre (SCC) is the Lancashire and South Cumbria (LSC) system wide single point of contact for NHSE, Region, ICB and all system providers for all system improvement activities and queries and is operational 7 days a week 0800 to 1800, or when the system deems it necessary.

Administrative

The Business/ Administration Manager will provide a full administrative support service to the SCC. This will include:

Physical Effort

Office based post with a frequent requirement to sit in a restricted position at display screen equipment. Manual handling loads of not more than 5Kg including equipment.

Driving to administration office.

Mental Effort

The work pattern is unpredictable, with frequent interruption. There will be an occasional requirement for concentration for data entry.

The post holder will be expected to provide cover for other administration staff during busy periods, including cover due to sickness absence and annual leave.

Emotional Effort

Unpredictable work pattern, work is interrupted to deal with queries from team on a range of matters. Concentration required for data entry. Undertaking a range of duties covering for other Administration Team Leader during sickness absence and annual leave. This may involve travelling and working in other departments/areas.

We're looking for data scientists with skills in R/ Python, agile and collaborative working, team players who can learn from and teach others as part of an innovative data science team. You may have skills in machine learning, statistics, data wrangling, text mining, dashboards (Shiny/ Streamlit/ etc.), the most important quality is ability and readiness to learn new things, and to share your knowledge with the team and with the wider health and social care system. This is a permanent role, band 7/8A depending on experience (£43,742 - £57,349), can be done hybrid/ remote, with a base in Birmingham.



As aData Scientist,you will have experience in designing, managing and maintaining open source code for data science and you will work in a team delivering software, code based tools, documentation and training to our clients regionally and nationally.

Contribute to the design, production, and maintenance of data science products as code, including but not limited to reproducible analytical pipelines

Work with our customers to identify and structure the problems they need to address, using agile methods to iteratively produce code and outputs to meet the requirements of our clients

Proactively learn new data science methods and ideas to ensure that you can work across a range of our projects, you will be fully supported to learn throughout your time in the team

Interpret and explain your work to both analysts and non-analysts within our clients’ organisations. This will include writing reports as well as presenting the results, confidently conveying key findings, critical uncertainties, business risks and opportunities

Write and deliver training internally as well as where appropriate externally

Work to produce quality open source outputs, including clean, readable code, and documentation, and promote and disseminate the work of the data science team accordingly

Be a team player, sharing your skills and knowledge, contributing to skills development and code reviews, and learning from others in the data science team and the wider unit

The postholder may be asked to provide line management for other data scientists in the team.
