The Assistant Manager, Siren Embargo Reviewer’s main responsibility is to facilitate in reviewing/approving Sanction screening of Siron Embargo system and attend to queries pertaining to Inward & Outward Telegraphic Transfer (TT) related to sanctions requirements. This role will report to the Manager, Global Payment Centre (Siron Embargo). 

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs the AML/Sanction (EMBARGO) review process & closely cooperating with branches to ensure in compliance with procedures, internal controls, cut-off times and service level of both internally or externally

• Assist with MIS business reporting/ compilation of statistical analysis in a timely manner and periodically check on balancing & reconciliation within various systems.

Functional – Fraud Dispute Management

• Analysis on fraud trends observed on Credit Card & Debit Card and subsequent propose adjustments on Fraud detection rules overlaid with management customer experience. Ongoing periodic reviews are necessary in order to gauge the effectiveness on the fraud rules in managing card fraud rules whilst minimally impacting customer experience.
• Analysis on fraud MOs for internet banking fraud cases, coupled with intelligence derive from Internet Banking Taskforce – towards better detection and protection against online fraud scams under internet banking. Ongoing periodic reviews are necessary in order to gauge effectiveness in mitigating internet banking fraud exposure of the bank and its customers whilst also cognizant of the customer’s digital banking experience.
• Manage fraud loss against sales ratio within management threshold.
• Ensure identified fraud trends and patterns are disseminated immediately and effectively to all detection & fraud management staff and proper pro-active monitoring mechanics are in place for early detection.
• Collate data and prepare MIS for analysis on authorization performance (balancing risk factors & customer experience expectations)

The Manager, Self Service Terminal (SST) Dispute Management’s responsibility is to monitor Disputes cases for SAN & Mydebit transactions by ensuring the cases are resolved in accordance to the policies, identify areas of improvement, resolve the production issues and manage any new ad hoc projects related to SST Dispute. • Act as a checker to attend, record & approved the dispute cases requested from the various parties within SST Dispute Register such as branches, FMU, Customer Experiences, Call Centre and other financial institutions through email, SIEBEL system & One Stop Portal system (OSP) as per BNM & Paynet’s guidelines.

• Monitor and check the dispute cases i.e refund for SAN & Mydebit, memo crediting for HLBB Cards Holder and Mydebit Manual Refund & Tag R volume cases received from Merchant Support Payment Team. 

• Prepared SST Dispute reporting on monthly basis and ensure RCSA tasks are executed accurately on quarterly basis.

• Conduct the SST Register and OSP system reports to keep in track all cases being attended within SLA (10 business Days) and involved in weekly meeting discussion on the Dispute related issue.
