Job Description:

· Carry out preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities in accordance with Preventive Maintenance Schedule.

· Monitor and ensure building safety compliance according to BCA safety requirements.

· Inspect premises daily, perform building round checklist recording and replace defective parts

· Manage and maintain tools and equipment list and stock up sufficient spare parts.

· Monitor and coordinate with contractors or external service provider to ensure works are completed according to required standard.

· Perform minor maintenance task, i.e. replace damage light bulb, replace filters, replace broken windows; repair doors, door locks and closets.

· Coordinate and assist in Fire Drill and safety inspection.

· Monitor and ensure all security system, mechanical, electrical and plumbing service are in good condition

· Attending to breakdown/emergency call.

· Maintain and ensure fire extinguishers are in working condition.

· Ensure housekeeping is carried out regularly.

· Performs other work related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum 3 years related work experience in facilities maintenance

· NTC/ITE in Electrical Engineering or relevance education knowledge

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for daily cleaning activities (Cleaning of warehouse, loading bay, washroom and assigned

areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting high touch surfaces)

· Carry out ad hoc duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Main job scope of the team:

· Packaging assembly

· Order picking according to pick list requirement

· Putaway – includes material handling, location verification, and product placement

· Receipt of all materials coming into warehouse, providing assurance that the quantity and quality of such materials are as ordered

· Verify and ensure accuracy on out-going shipment.

· Maintains accurate inventory records through the use of a computerized inventory system (WMS System).

· Container stuffing / Unstuffing for inbound / outbound based on instruction

· Loading / unloading of goods for both internal / external trucks

Responsibilities:

Lead logistics team in managing entire logistics operations including order fulfilment, inbound/outbound, warehousing, heat treatment& transportation operations.

Manage heat treatment operations to ensure daily production schedules are fulfilled efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Facility Operations Management:

Manage and supervise the overall facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, security, and janitorial services.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues promptly.

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for facility repairs, renovations, and equipment installations.

Supervise and provide guidance to facility staff, including maintenance technicians and cleaning team

Budgeting and Cost Control:

Work with Facility Manager to review and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality service delivery.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize facility expenses.

Space Planning and Utilization:

Collaborate with various teams to assess space requirements and plan for optimal space utilization.

Coordinate office relocations, furniture installations, and modifications to accommodate changing needs.

Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations related to space utilization and accessibility.

Health and Safety Compliance:

Work with Facility Manager to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for employees and visitors.

Stay up-to-date with local health and safety regulations and ensure compliance within the facility.

Vendor Management:

Work with Facility Manager to identify and evaluate vendors for facility-related services and negotiate contracts to obtain competitive pricing and quality services.

Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services, such as repairs, renovations and maintenance.

Monitor vendor performance, conduct periodic evaluations, and address any issues or concerns.

Emergency Preparedness:

Work with Fire Safety Manager to conduct fire drills

Assist in coordinating with relevant authorities and stakeholders during emergencies or crisis situations.

Requirements:

NITEC/ Diploma in Facilities Management/Building, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience in facility management or a similar role.
