POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Manager – Mobile will craft unique and delightful mobile app experiences that drive revenue, increase customer engagement and foster irrational brand loyalty. The Product Manager – Mobile will be the liaison between various internal and external stakeholders to help define our strategy, write requirements, manage product development and lead destination and end customer roll-out. The Product Manager – Mobile is ultimately responsible for Alterra’s mobile app product functionality and usability and ensures product goals and project timelines are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
General Responsibilities
Coordinate with key stakeholders and define product strategy and features for both iOS and Android mobile apps
Champion new ideas and mobile app features with stakeholders across Alterra Mountain Company (HQ and resorts)
Take an active role and work closely with our internal IT and marketing teams, vendor partners and resort staff to concept, define and launch product sets in an agile, fast-paced environment
Prioritize and document product requirements, user stories and designs for feature enhancements for existing and new application modules while considering the needs of existing customers, competitive market offerings and our overall company strategy.
Participate in the maintenance and grooming of product backlogs ensuring user stories are well formed with acceptance criteria.
Communicate and coordinate with constituents on proposed solutions, project status and timeline for delivery.
Lead go-to-market efforts with HQ and resort destinations, deliver product training on new feature enhancements or modules
Manage the product support process with resort stakeholders and customer call center staff
Establish, track and communicate KPIs that demonstrate the overall health of Alterra’s mobile app products
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proven track record. Passion for building amazing mobile app experiences (iOS & Android) – and have a track record to prove it.
Product Owner. Demonstrates the ability to take ideas, define products, and ship features.
Customer Focused. Understands customer needs, gather details for initiatives and documents supporting business cases.
Results Oriented. Experience in identifying issues, understanding what needs to be done, and working with the appropriate development team to get solutions shipped.
Highly Analytical. Uses data to make decisions and is comfortable capturing it individually or working with others.
Strong Team Player. The ability to multi-task, prioritize, and the ability to wear multiple hats.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required:
5+ years leading the development and launch of complex mobile-centric products.
Developing product strategy with a strong aptitude for determining optimal market positioning.
Managing and working with internal resources and external partners.
Preferred:
Mobile apps at a consumer-oriented e-commerce brand.

Denver area base salary range: $80,000.00 to $112,000.00 per year

POSITION SUMMARY
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for executing payroll for their assigned resort(s)/corporate employees. The position will work closely with the Human Resources, HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), and Benefits teams, as well as with our 3rd party partners to deliver an exceptional payroll process that is completed accurately and timely. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for meeting all deadlines, preparing time and attendance for processing, performing payroll calculations, manual entry and adjustments, auditing results, and reconciling the payroll back to all inputs. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and understands the importance of providing exceptional customer service, providing timely and accurate responses to all employees, HR and resort leaders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
General Responsibilities
Provide a high level of service and support to all Alterra Mountain Company employees. Assist employees with questions about their wages, taxes and/or deductions listed on their pay statements.
Prepare employee records for payroll processing in payroll systems utilized (UltiPro, Workday and ADP).
Support the Time and Attendance activity utilizing Kronos/UKG.
Enter and verify all deduction amounts included on pay run.
Process reports to analyze payroll data for integrity.
Process requests from the resort for manual payroll checks verifying all wages and deductions required, including processing stop payments on lost paychecks and reissuing checks.
Process/support all Court Orders to include and not limited to garnishment, and tax levy’s in UltiPro, Workday and ADP. Include verification of accurate calculations and any necessary communication to the employee or resorts.
Assist HR/Payroll resort staff with time entry problems in Kronos/UKG. Become subject matter expert in order to troubleshoot problems/errors as they arise and could impact the accuracy of the payroll output.
Audit reports during payroll processing for benefits, including prepayments, refunds and any additional deductions for arrears.
Support the benefits team with Workday leave of absence adjustments related to deductions and time off accruals.
Provide support to US Benefits team(s) with Workday enrollment and other benefits issues
Research and provide information for unclaimed wage payments.
Support quarter and Year End tax reporting processes as required by law.
Complete employment verifications from various agencies.
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years, multi-State payroll experience including taxes and garnishments, pay calculations, multi-state taxation rules, wage and hour laws and functional payroll processing.
Experience with weekly, bi-weekly, hourly and salaried payrolls.
Benefits knowledge, including taxation.
Finance/Accounting knowledge or experience required. Ability to use query and report generation tools.
Workday experience required
Kronos and experience preferred.
Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Knowledge of computer network systems.
Understanding of manual payroll process from timecard calculations to the posting of payroll to the general ledger.
Canadian payroll processing experience a plus
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work with the accounting and functional groups and senior management to collect, normalize and analyze data for financial & payroll reporting.

TEAM SUMMARY
The Strategy and Business Operations team, in coordination with the President and CEO, serves as an internal consulting resource for the Alterra executive team in addition to overseeing key corporate initiatives, including Alterra’s annual and multiyear planning efforts.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr Analyst is responsible for supporting the work of the Strategy team, driven by Alterra’s President and CEO. The team is responsible for driving the long-term growth strategy of the business, including our individual owned and operated resorts, the Ikon pass, our ancillary lines of business the and technology that underpins it all. The role involves assessing high impact initiatives across Alterra’s global business that contribute to strategic objectives and putting in place measures to help implement such initiatives. The individual must be highly analytical, can view the business from a number of different levels, can interact effectively with all levels of management including C-level executives within the organization, and work with stakeholders to identify and implement new opportunities to grow the business. The individual will distill data and key metrics into insights that will help shape the future of the company. In short – this role is responsible for measuring, interpreting, and providing context to our data—so that we can actually do something about it.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assist in all aspects of strategy and analytics including but not limited to customer segmentation and analysis, market sizing and segmentation, new opportunity identification, brand analysis, modeling/sensitivity analysis to support strategic options, competitive intelligence, KPI development and implementation
Conduct hands on modeling/advanced analytics retrieving, compiling, and analyzing large volumes of data from disparate databases into distilled, actionable information needed by senior leadership to answer critical questions
Support cross functional initiatives to drive actions as a result of business insights (the expectation is that you can not only analyze data, but also effectively communicate the underlying story and help see your recommendations through to execution)
Determine viability of new business opportunities through rigorous quantitative analysis (new products, partnerships, joint ventures, etc.)
Develop recommendations and clearly communicate results of analysis to senior management
Collaborate with internal / external customers to develop initiatives that drive growth
Perform internal, ad hoc analysis of key strategic initiatives across multiple departments (e.g. marketing deals, subscription products, partnerships, etc.)
Assist with company-wide reporting to senior executives and Corporate headquarters both on an ad hoc and regular basis (including quarterly business reviews, Board meetings, and annual budgeting/strategic planning process)
Manage multiple initiatives at once and prioritize based on business needs and urgency
Generate actionable insights and contribute to efforts that drive outsize results at the company.
