About you

First and foremost, working as part of the HR Senior Leadership Team, you’ll have substantial experience of delivering HR for a workforce of 2,000+ colleagues. Your background includes navigating the complexities of large matrixed organisations or PLC’s and understanding the unique challenges they face.

Your new role

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring environmental compliance is adhered to across the Company's portfolio of sites (including flexible power generation, BESS, wind and solar) sites
• Accountable for the management of statutory environmental permit requirements, such as but not limited to, emissions monitoring and reporting
• Responsible for the maintenance of UK-ETS permits and procedures, including annual verifications
• Ensuring all new sites in development or construction obtain statutory environmental permits in line with key project timescales
• Providing key input intothe portfolio carbon reporting procedures (ESOS, ISO 50001 etc.)
• Managing variations to existing environmental permits that may be required
• Maintaining and establishing long-term relationships with environmental regulators and third-party consultants
• Act as internal expert on environmental legislation and regulation and improve environmental awareness throughout the business
• Representing the business at workshops, industry forums and working groups as required
• Carrying out internal environmental auditing and host audits of our sites by the Regulators
• Responsibility for assessing new and changing environmental legislation and providing responses to key government consultations
• Be a key consultee at relevant design process meetings, attending and providing input at all stages of the design process and lifecycle of projects.
• Working closely with key internal stakeholders on all environmental matters

What you need to succeed

• Degree in a relevant field
• Membership (or working towards) of a relevant professional body (i.e. IEMA, IES, IAQM etc.)
• Proven experience in environmental management and compliance practices
• Demonstrable experience in managing environmental permitting processes, preferably with MCP's and specified generators
• Demonstrable experience in analysing complex analytical environmental datasets
• Greenhouse gas calculation and reporting experience would be desirable
• Competent knowledge of the environmental permitting regulations (installation, Medium Combustion Plants (MCPD), Specified Generators and Flood Risk Activities)
• Competent with new and evolving environmental legislation and policy

Role Description

Reporting to the VP of HR Services, Technology & Analytics, CoStar’s HR Services team is responsible for providing exceptional front-line service to employees, developing and maintaining policies and procedures, supporting acquisitions and major employee events, ensuring the accuracy of employee data, managing compliance activities, and department and company-wide HR initiatives. The team regularly collaborates with various departments to support the company throughout the employee life cycle.

The HR Services Senior Manager is a key leadership role within the HR department. This role will interact with all levels within the organization from our newest employees to the C-suite. The ideal candidate will be a proven, confident HR operations leader with experience in a dynamic, fast growing, and agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the leadership, HR Business Partners, COEs and HR Technology teams to ensure seamless integration of services and support broader HR initiatives.
• Ensure the team provides exceptional service to employees and HR colleagues through timely, accurate responses to inbound inquiries and requests.
• Drive initiatives to enhance service delivery, streamline processes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Evolve and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the HR Services team.
• Provide guidance to the HR team, employees and managers regarding consistent interpretation and application of company policies. Maintain the employee policy guide and HR intranet landing page.
• Contribute to the development and execution of effective employee on-boarding.
• Manage HR vendor relationships, ensuring service level agreements are met and costs are optimized.
• Oversee companywide employee programs including Tuition Assistance, Relocation, Commuter benefits, and Immigration sponsorship.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of employee-related legal requirements reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership and oversee employee information collection, analysis and reporting; supervise the input of data and ensure data integrity; manage HRIS system (Workday) audits.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate HR projects and initiatives using project management approach.
• Manage employee communication in partnership with internal teams to ensure employees receive timely and accurate information about upcoming HR initiatives.
• Guide and assist as necessary with HRIS transactions (promotions, bonuses, transfers, move workers, one-time payments, internal database updates). Coordinate with HR Technology team on areas of improvement or collaboration needed.
• Participate in due diligence pre-acquisition and manage employee on-boarding post-acquisition.
• Develop and mentor team members, promoting professional growth and succession planning.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• 8+ years HR-related experience including minimum 3 years of leadership experience within a HR shared services or similar operations role.
• Exceptional project management skills and experience with the ability to manage multiple projects, initiatives and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong understanding of employment labor laws and regulations.
• Analytical skills with the ability to resolve a wide variety of complex issues or problems.
• Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Successful candidate will be self-directed, motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and be a strong team player; this includes showing a drive for results, inquisitiveness, and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SHRM or PHR/SPHR certification
• HR generalist experience
• Workday (HRIS) experience

The Role

Live Nation Canada is looking for a strategic and experienced individual to join their Human Resources team in the Vancouver office. The HR Manager will partner closely with business leaders and venues in the West to advise on people-related strategy and decisions, including employee engagement, talent management, compensation, and change management. They will also lead our national learning and development strategy.

• Act as primary point of HR contact to all managers and employees in the Vancouver and Calgary offices, and owned and operated venues in the West in the areas of employee relations, change management, performance management, employee engagement, compensation, and learning and development.

• Assist the team in Western Canada by developing HR strategies supporting employee engagement.

• Support the talent acquisition team on recruitment efforts, from time to time.

• Manage onboarding and offboarding for all employees in the West, providing an excellent employee experience.

• Play a strategic role in identifying organizational needs, ensuring succession plans are in place, and employees are giving opportunities to grow their career and role. 

• Lead the performance management process in the West by supporting employees and managers.

• Responsible for developing the annual national training plan, supporting Live Nation Canada’s goals and employees needs, by conducting learning needs assessments.

• Support the department heads in developing and executing training plans for their teams.

• Research, implement and/or design training opportunities for employees based on their training needs analysis.

• Partner with the global learning and development team to deliver high quality, impactful and successful training opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
